  1. Looks good. I cant wait to get mine back on the ground.. I second ball joints. Those look terrible!
  2. What if you 2 to him and 2 to me. I think several of my "turbo" injectors arent turbos, im going to pull them off soon to see. I might need 2.
  3. I wouldnt throw around numbers like 10hp.
  4. Thats Zeeboost's, he is a member here. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=146156
  5. I bought my car when I was 11 planned on having it done when I was 15... Im 18 now and its still apart..
  6. There were definitely some shortcuts... rolling the fenders AFTER you paint it, the switch panel, and anyone notice the really wrinkly leather work on the areas around the door actuators? Definitely on my list of never want to see again... Place at the base of picture.
  7. Im not sure if the ZX is any better in the suspension department but I really dont think its worth the effort. How much do the springs cost for the ZX? I know my shocks and springs were $360 shipped. I cant see anything being a whole lot cheaper. Also did you buy the ZX shocks assuming theyd work?
  8. Yeah, no safety on my 78. Ive started it in 1st on accident...
  9. Ive also bought parts from him. Everything went fine. And as mentioned it can take a long time for stuff to get somewhere. I shipped a box to the east coast and it took a month! There wasnt any problems, it just took forever. Although I dont know why a small thing would be delayed. My box was really big.
  10. Yeah I had a friend at UW (university of washington) for mechanical and they designed some sort of car from the ground up. Im sure they used some previously built components but for the most part they did all the calculations, design and fab for it. Sounded like alot of fun. And its fine talking about the eco car here. Its all related.
  11. I get both ways. Sometimes it goes black other times it will open a window.
  12. Good looking car. I say you guys switch cars... little better fit in my opinion.
  13. Id reconsider that. What type of flares? You might end up with a bit of a RV style track... (wide body, narrow track)
  14. Wow thats a pretty large Zeder' population %.
  15. You can get new stock springs, might do that if your set of keeping them, I doubt your springs are in the same condition as when they were new.. Would you not want about 1.5 inch drop? Thats what most of the mild sport springs are.
  16. Yeah, were going through waves right now and its tough to know what your doing without trig!
  17. So what would you consider most of your math is coming from? Is it alot of integration, multivariable/3axis, series, or linear? Edit- Did a search. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Control_theory Definitely some integration and algebra... Also, just passing has never been a goal of mine, Id die if I just passed. I actually didnt take calc 3 this quarter since the teacher is terrible. Most of the students have 4.0s but have no idea what their doing. Id rather learn it right and get a grade that reflects my knowledge... although 4.0s in math are good.
  18. At this point I dont have any experience in the field. I actually graduate HS in a few months. I am accepted to a college for mechanical engineering and Ill have already taken most of my engineering physics, calculus, etc by this fall when I go to my 4 year. (running start program at community college) I know interests change in some cases, but I think Im slightly different. I have liked those 3 things give or take a few smaller hobbies for most of my life. I really dont see them changing significantly.
  19. CE=Computer Engineer? Id still like to do something like you mentioned, sounds like alot of fun. Although, in the long run Id like to be in something I really enjoy.
  20. I know there are quite a few engineers here and I know quite a few are MEs. Im going into mechanical engineering and have been thinking about what kind of job Id want to have. So I have 3 big loves in my life, cars/motorcycles, guns, and planes. Each of them have use for engineers, even working in the aeronautical field I wouldnt neccesarily need to be an aerospace engineer although Im considering it. The other fields Im sure would have plenty of use for MEs. So my question is, of the MEs here where do you work and what do you do there? Better yet anyone in any of the fields mentioned earlier? Thanks Edit- Forgot to mention, I looked at a couple websites including ruger, lockheed martin, and northrop grumman, all of them had a job position for a ME. Although the 2nd and 3rd included many other including CS, EE, etc.
