Harness bar???

Well not much progress lately waiting on some parts... I did get the front calipers mounted today, waiting on bolts for the rear calipers. 16x8 RBR +10mm flat black!! Should be here by thursday or friday!

Shouldnt have painted it. Looked sweet raw.

I went ahead and just ordered 16x8 4x114.3 RBR +10 offset in flat black. :) They should be here by the end of the week...

Does anyone have two pics of an RB and an RBR same size and offset? Im getting really confused on which is which and what is what...... On a 16x8 +04/+10 which is the more banana shape and which ones flatter? Heres supposedly an RB.. These are more RB's RBR 16x8 +10 Also would it be possibly to run +04 in the front and +10 in the back? Front will stick out and not need a spacer, rear fenders wont need to be rolled. -- Just talked to 18racing and she said the main difference between the two will be the lip. The RBR will have more of a lip with the same offset and rim size. Shes sending pictures to my email in a few minutes so Ill post them.

Havent bought them yet. Looking to order today. Just making sure everything is definite. I think flat black will looks great but..... hyper black looks great, and gloss black with polished lip.... ugggghhhh.... Im still heavily leaning towards the flat black.

MSA sells both a smooth and bolt on version of the Zg flares. Both can be bonded on and then blended in but the smooth version would be much easier to do. As for cutting the fenders, to gain the functionality of the flare you need to. You may also have issues bonding it to the fender while still having the old fender below. Youd have two fender lips which would look really bad, and with wide rims/tires rub alot.

I never really liked those flares. To bubbly. It does seem like the bottom edge is kind of messed up.

Hi Tom. Ive been able to cope with my addiction and trimmed my garage down from 3 Z's (all inoperable) to just one.

Ill have to get some pics in the morning of my house. I had to dig out our driveway thanks to the plows making a huge bank in front of it. Ive been pulling out quite a few people. Keep a nice towstrap in my RAV4. I actually stopped to help a guy trying to pull in a gas station. He locked his keys in his car, with it running, in drive!! And I was going to pull him out!! That would have been great.

I will be rolling the rears. So seems like the 4s will be best. But I am running tokico lowering springs so would it be better to just get the 10's and a front spacer? I was wanting the 4s for the extra bit that sticks out. (looks) But its really only 6mm, isnt much for the cost of rolling fenders. Ill think about it. You got the 10's right? And are you running 225/50's or 45? Wasnt 45 v. 50 making a difference on rubbing too?

Haha, yeah Ill probably have them in Feb/March. Im really anxious to get some, Im just mad I didnt decide on these like 3 or 4 weeks ago. I had them money then, I wouldnt have to wait as long. Oh and I wish it looked like the picture outside! Where the car is in the picture is a huge pile of snow.

Yeah, funny thing about the group buy thread is that they dont seem to have ever actually gotten a discount.. I just got off with 18racing and it will be 625 shipped. Thats alot cheaper then the xxr 006's I was looking at, when factoring adaptors. Bad thing is 2-3 months... although I wont be driving it till spring/summer Id like to have them in my hands.

So where is the best place to look for the rbr 16x8 flat black +04? 18racing? Ebay doesnt have any listed. I saw the "group buy" thread and people were getting them for $650 shipped. I also noticed the front bumper... I had fg bumpers but I sold them. Stupid me. Know I need to find a good front bumper and brackets.

Welding is the expensive part. Why not have the laser put holes at all the edges and just rivet it together?

Although the trim is flat im not sure if I want flat black wheels. Some that Ive seen look cheap. Heres what it looked like in summer. It is now lowered all trim and windows are in, and various other things. Looks alot sweeter now.
