  1. Four rear flares might be the ticket. Any idea of how wide they are compared to standard ZG's? From a 2003 Frontier:
  2. Education system? I go to an elite private international school and take all honors classes. Seems like you have lots of beefs....
  3. "amateur hobby opinion" because my family didn't ever restore mustangs professionally and my dad doesn't own any show cars or anything. In my professional opinion, you're the one who keeps discrediting yourself.
  4. I'm pretty sure this is a thread about alternatives to ZG flares and is completely irrelevant to "shakotan" or "VIP" style, I don't think anyone ever mentioned wheel fitment. I'm not sure what you mean by "shakotan boy" but I am not Japanese, do not live in Japan, and my car is not "VIP" style. *By "shark nose" were you referring to the G Nose? I don't think you can answer with much credibility on ZG flares if you can't correctly identify a ZG dealer option.
  5. I've never seen that 944 kit before. Great post. I love the way flares look on Z's, I'd just like to do something more original and see more variety. My tires aren't wide enough to run this, but I really admire how a racebody was used on a street car, I like cross breeding track and street: Porsche 911 flares:
  6. The large (but not necessarily wider) flares would look sick on a Z. Looks like it's ready for the track. Just a quick mark up in photoshop:
  7. Has anyone ever thought of or put universal wide body flares or ones from other cars on an S30 before? Perhaps some visual aid: ^Those are S13 flares from Tra Kyoto, but very pricey at $800+ for a set, and they don't look like they'd fit right without a body kit such as something like an MSA type 2 or 3. Another alternative would be Porsche 944 race flares: Comments? Opinions?
  8. The ZG look is so classic and has been around for such a long time, I don't think it will ever go out of style. Like hood pins, louvers, black hood, and side stripes on a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang... classic. Unlike the whale-tail look.
  9. What sort of Aftermarket Gauges are y'all runnin out there? I ordered a set of 52mm Propsport Evo's but now I need new a speedometer & tach to match. PM if you have any you want to sell. Anyway, thanks in advance for the pics. I love the look of modern gauges in these cars.
  10. ^I MUST know what body kit and wheels those are....^ Anyone have a link to the article?
  11. Looking for Aftermarket Road or Racing Seats. Must have slots for shoulder straps, to accommodate a four point harness. Color and material condition isn't a huge deal because I will likely re-upholster them. Brand name preferred because I don't want you trying to flip your "TYPE R" or "MUGENI STYLE" seats from ebay on me. Preferred colors: Red and/or Black PM me with offers and pictures.
  12. I heard this slap this morning and looked in my rear view to see this piece flying off in the distance, I drove back to get it but can't figure out what it is, or if it even came off my car. It's stamped K & N on the black piece.
  13. I'm nuts for those carbon fiber door pulls. I want a set when you're ready to release them... in the mean time my xbox 360 and guitars are about to be on craigslist.........
  14. If you wanted to have twin cams for your L28 it would probably cost less to just to take three Ka24de heads and weld them together...
  15. Will I need to change anything related to my ECU to run Turbo Injectors properly?
  16. Haha, off topic but you should check out the "performance throttle body" sold by MSA.... Looks almost identical to a 240sx tb.... but costs $349.99
  17. I saw this from MSA, it has some pretty good claims: http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/11-3073 Are they accurate? I'm not sure if modifying my ECU is an option, sounds expensive although have it mapped would probably improve the car's performance under WOT.
  18. Any suggestions on the regulator? Aftermarket? Junkyard? I'm assuming I would want a rising rate regulator..
  19. Thanks, great advice and I will definitely go to lonewolf if I do anything to my intake. What CC would be too high to run off the stock ECU on my non-turbo?
  20. The motor: Stock Pistons, Crank, L28 Block, 6-2 Headers The cam is the one from MSA, stage II Specs: Grind: 17033. Lift(In/Ex): .480/.480. Duration(In/Ex): 274/274 Basically, it's not slow, but doesn't feel as fast as it should, especially after a rebuild. Getting the timing right made a big difference but I still feel like my girlfriend's CRV pass me. I have a feeling it's somewhat weak injectors or pump, so if I'm going to replace them why not upgrade? There's two junkyards less than a half hour from my house. So it's not too hard to get a hold of parts. They have a 300ZX there, ever heard of those being put on an L28?
  21. So I know there are plenty of options for upgrading the fuel injection of an L28, especially L28's with turbos. I've searched around and I can't really find much on upgrading injectors on an NA L28. I have an N42 Head with a Schneider Cam. The car sat for 20 years so I'm thinking the injectors aren't as good as they used to be, everything but the intake manifold has since been rebuilt. What injectors will fit and be appropriate my engine? Are Supra, GM, Audi, and RC injectors ok for an NA car? What number of CC's would I want? Any Suggestions for a specific injector + rail set up? Also: I want to go to an aftermarket fuel rail but don't know where to start, I can't seem to find much on it, it mostly seems to be a thing for turbo cars.
  22. You know you own a Datsun when your dad stops by Z Car Source and they guys there know him by name... even though he's never been there before and lives at least 1,000 miles away. (They found me a new wiring harness when mine blew up)
