  1. Somebody was busy. Looks good. Jason
  2. http://www.jason.fletcher.net/tech/sherman/sherman.htm That's the link. I'll build an engine like this for my next Z car. I might not go 400HP. Maybe like 350HP or so. By-the-way...you do know that someone here builds a mount to put the small block Ford into a Z car. Just get a hold of Alsil if you need one. I bought one and it was well made. Jason
  3. Have you seen Joe Sherman's 400HP 302 for under $2,500? He is an engine builder and wrote an article on how to do this. I have a link somewhere on this. It was in a ford magizine a few years ago. Jason
  4. I can sell you a set of early S.U. carbs, if your are interested. Jason
  5. I need to know if they all can be interchanged...I am in the middle of rebuilding my 1982 Turbo L6 and have an older cover(off of a 240 or 260 engine) in better shape than the one that came on the engine. They look the same, as far as I can tell. What bothers me is, if there is the possibility of...say a different water passage route or, something that may not be easily noticed. I already have the older one cleaned and ready to be painted. Anyone know? Thanks! Jason
  6. Try looking at your TPS for your remaining problem. I had something like this happen to my Ford Probe GT. It turned out to be the TPS. It wasn't always sending the correct reading for some reason. The engine would stumble and even stall at times...then at other times run just fine. It always seemed to do it at about the same RPMS too. What I ended up doing was; taking it off, cleaning eveything, then putting it all back together...I adjusted everything just the way the book told me to. It is very important to get it just right. At least on my car. I hope this helps, Jason
  7. http://www.toohighpsi.com/BudgetTT/BudgetTT.htm Thats the link to Mike's twin turbo T-Bird. I hope this helps. The link to the guy with the twin turbo 5.0 Mustang no longer works. Jason
  8. Oh, ok...it was an honest question though. I did not think of it like that. Sorry, Jason
  9. Have you been to the web site toohighpsi.com ? It has some really great info on stuff like this. Some of this guy's stuff was built on used junkyard parts and the such. His T-bird lasted years on it. There is another guy that did a stock 5.0 twin turbo car. I'll see if I can find the webpage. The stock 5.0 is good for up to close to 500 HP I thought. I am not 100% sure on this. I believe the twin turbo 5.0 guy is close to 400HP. I'll look into this more for you. Jason
  10. Is it the 351 H.O. ? Is it carbed or fuel injected? I had a 351 H.O. that came out of a Ford truck. Not sure if the truck was a lighting or not. Depending on the year it should have over 300HP I believe. I ended up putting the motor into a 1975 Mustang II Ghia. Haha...it was a quick car. Maybe not the greatest looking car but, quick! It performed well for years and I never had a problem with it. I wish I had not sold that car...made a great sleeper. Jason
  11. I was just wanting to know. I am at almost 300 now....need to throw my .02 around more. Not that anyone wants it. Ha ha. Jason
  12. But, not as great as the Z. Jason
  13. Seriously, that is a great looking car! Jason
  14. Yeah, 250 GTOs are a dime a dozen. And, you wouldn't catch me putting their crap on my Z. Jason
  15. "I sent him back an email saying that I preferred an enthusiast site that promoted the exchange of information among the site members so that I had deleted the link to his site from my computer." LMAO! Well done! Yes, HybridZ is an awesome site. Jason
  16. "i like how the mirrors are like the ZG mirrors.. very badass" Yeah, they were always copying Datsun...the bastards.

    RED Z

    Good looking car!
  18. Would wrapping everything up in header wrap work?
  19. I would like to know as well. Since I am installing a turbo engine into my 240Z. Jason
  20. I would check out that car anyway...it might be a better find than you think. Jason
