ok so i was looking at the greddy/trust web site (http://www.trust-power.com/overseas/products.html) and noticed that under turbo manifolds they sell two. a twin turbo and a single turbo. so ive been trying to research and learn more about them and where i can get one. i read that someone thought with the twinturbo manifold, being that i have a left hand drive car, the steering shaft might be in the way. can anyone clarify that for me? and if so is there a possibility of rerouting it? and if thats not possible will the single turbo manifold work ok on a left hand drive car? And second how do i order one. does anyone know where i can get one in america/california. greddy is going to have a garage sale/car show on feb 23rd at EL TORO airbase which is 5 miles from my house so ill go down there and try to talk to them about fittment issues and ordering.

i asked someone where i would be able to pickup a rebuild kit for the tranny that is in the JDM sr20 and i was told it is the same tranny as in the 240sx in america except with different gearing. is this true and if so if i pick up a rebuild kit for a 240sx trans will i be able to use it in the sr20 trans? thanks!

no tires, i cant say on weight because they are still apart at the moment accept for one which dosnt have silicon in (to seal them) and the width i believe inside was 8 and 8 1/2

also could you give me a weight estimate please

anyone interested in these wheels ive come across some other ones i like more. i know this sounds expensivebut id like to atleast get a grand for them because thats how much i put into them in buying them and blacting them and powdercoating and all the new hardware. and take into acount that you will probably never ever see these wheels anywhere else they were manufactured in 1986 by volk with stickers and and stamping to prove it. true 3 piece wheels

hahah yeah i know what you mean i just did a quick search and got 2300 dollars for fedex but it was quick delivery. but even then its still worth it considering i looked online at some wrecking yards near me and they want 6 grand for the engine alone! but yes i am interested and being im only 17 and dont have that kind of money in hand i need to ease my dad into it although when i should him i could feel a little light bulb turn on in his head as well as my own. so i think he would go for it. i do have a question though if i were to buy it (saying the other buyer didnt come through) would it be to much to ask of you to throw in or atleast sell me those engine mounts for a 240z, i saw you post an idea about possibly making kits. seems that way. after waiting so long and now trying to find my camera, i find that i left my camera in my rv which is in storage an hour away and well yeah im not about to get it.

so when i bought my car the dash like most others had a few HUGE cracks in it. the guy i bought it from gave me a used but good condition dash to replace it with. so i took the damn dash out swapped over all the gauges and wires. and when i got to put the dash in a month later (im a busy person) its got a crack in the vinyl. i guess it was just so old and brittle its cracked. so im gonna try to have it covered and if not lined by some sort of bedliner i guess

if anyone even kept up on this i had the centers bead blasted and powder coated flat black and the outer lip nicely polished and i got all new hardware for bolting them back together so as soon as i get some time they will be bolted together then i have to buy some new tires. damnit im just burning a bigger and bigger hole in my pocket. pics soon i hope

thanks that gives me an idea, i was thinking the monte carlo rally style with only two center fogs. i drive in this canyon not to far from my house to ease my mind quite often and its just pitch black in there. so i was thinking some hella fogs with the yellow covers

so im waiting on this window molding to get my interior put in and i really had the urge to work on my car. so i took off the front bumper and brakets and rear bumper. i sand blasted the front brackets and will put them back on without the front bumper and plan on adding some big foglights (if youve seen this done id love pics). and ive roughed up the rear bumper and am im the process of painting it satin black to match the taillight panel. ill post pictures when its back on the car if youd like. its nice to work on my car again

hahah yeah i just got my car tunned yesterday by a guy who specializes in Z's and when my dad picked it up (i was at work) he explained to him how its supposed to be routed so tomorrow i have to tell the muffler guy how to do it right

now im not sure if this belongs in here but, could you hook up a nitrous plate on the 4 barrel manifold?

so i bought my z in october 2006 and bought a nice MSA 6to1 ceramic coated header for my z but while tearing it down i found a broken stud in my head. so after months of wating for this time sert like piece that had the right pitch for the stock stud i get my header on and drive my car down to this muffler shop that is supposed to be pretty good. so after finding out they dont have my muffler in when im hopping to pick it up once i got off work i wait another day and its done. i was soooo excited and so when i got it home last friday i drove it all weekend and noticed that bumps and dips or even a curvey road my car was scrapeing something. i thought it was my header but once i got into my auto shop class today and raised it up to look it seems that the damn independent rear suspension is causing it. when i go on bumps and what not, where the yokes of the axle and wheel hook up is hitting my pipe and is starting to crush it!!!! ahhh im so frustrated but they said i could bring it in and they fix it (for free im guessing) so thursday im bring it back to them. by the way the exhaust sounds great, its a 2inch from the header back into a magnaflow muffler. il try and take a picture of it tomorrow.

i just bought my first Z car. ive been in love with them ever since i saw one about 4 years ago. i am picking up my 1972 240z this monday and want to start to tackle this project right away. is there any thing i can cap or pull off (smog stuff) to even add a little horsepower. im very new to the Z's and havnt learned much yet. i am also on a very VERY low budget. for starters i was thinking of making an exhaust in my auto shop and was wondering what size tubing i should put on it, being that it is stock. any addvice would be greatly appreciated
