I could run 2.5 exhaust into a 2.5 inlet/2.5 outlet muffler with a 3" pipe from the muffler to the tip. Itll be like there is nothing there after the muffler. Or I could cut out the 90* bends all together and weld 2 45* bends in place of 1 90* bend.

The big man doesnt mess with old classic cars. I had tinted windows on my black zx for about a year and a half, before one side got badly scratched and i removed both sides. Ive been pulled over for other things, the tint subject never came up.

I dont like how the 79 exhaust is routed. I have an MSA rear bumper on the 79 now. It exits on the passenger side. On my previous 79, i was running the exhaust out of the back of the drivers side. I cant do this on the current 79 because the MSA bumper comes out the passenger side. After the muffler, there is one 90* bend, and then right before the tip, there is another 90* bend. After the stock system is done, i want to put together a few peices of pipe i have in the garage. The best i can come up with is running a 2.5 outlet muffler, and a 2.5 mandrel to the tip. How much are those 90* bends going to hurt flow?

Hey, know what i LOVE to hear? I like when a stupid punk does something wrong, the cops bust his ass (or shoot him), and then the community rallies around the punk ass because they claim he is the victim of police harrassment/brutality. Just like the reason for the L.A. riots, you know the main group that was out there, i dont need to say it, or look bad saying it. I love watching cops do their thing. Uh, i have to agree. My experience is always great because when i call MSA, i always go right to the company directory and type in "SAM", either leave a message or he picks up right away. When i walk in, Sam always comes out from his desk and comes to the showroom to help me out. Maybe my experience with MSA is wonderful because Sam is the one that carries his weight around there. When i think about it, thats who i always deal with when it comes to MSA. I need a tetnus shot now..

If you need to replace your injector pigtails, go to the junkyard and clip some off a z31 300zx!!!! Dont waste money buying them new.

I love it! My lady actually has her own tool bag, and we split off when we go to the junkyard, and meet up 2 hours later to compare finds! She changes her own oil, crawls under the car with me, etc. Welcome! 8)

I think people expect too much from MSA. People gotta remember, they are 1 of 2 major Z part distributors, so they are B-U-S-Y. Dont be offended if they dont have time to chat, if they have a hurried attitude, if they dont give you the service you get from a Hooters girl. They just dont have time for it. They have always had what i needed.

Ive had nothing but good service from MSA. The only gripe i have is about their telephone service. Its really wierd. The lady on the machine sounds so real. When i try to reach a particular person by using the company directory, it sends me to a dead end, then connects me to someone who i didnt want to talk to, but hey, its someone at least. On delivery of shipped parts, i dunno, i just walk in. Be prepared to spend an hour sitting and chatting about parts in the showroom. If MSA werent around, Z's would be rare and near extinction. They offer parts that we cant get otherwise. We cant go hybridizing everything now, can we? That would take ages!

My mothers house in Parker is directly in the path of a fire near Denver. She says they can smell smoke and its about 30 minutes drive away. Horrible fire season for the west.

The m30 is a convertible 300zx. I think the suspension and braking are the same. Also, if you have a 300zx, you may want to look into pulling the entire fuel injection, its a sequential setup instead of batch firing. just nice to have.

Wish i had the Nissan v8 done...would be a nice conversation peice.
