  2. Azenis are the closest you can get to an r compound tire without breaking your wallet. Ive seen them go for $35 a peice here in socal at times!
  3. Ok, im throwing all my Z stuff out the window......thats just insane....nothing i build will ever be that cool!
  4. Whats a mph of 180MPH Plus and a 0-60 of under 2 seconds add up to in the 1/4 mile?
  5. If you can, get a few boxes of wet-naps to give out. It will make people feel better. Its one of the best things to send troops in the desert also. instant shower...Good on you freaktroll!!!
  6. Old skool is always the best! Gotta love those old Japanese cars.
  7. Here is a short list of shelters you can just walk up to and offer your help, they need it so bad in some places. The 1000 homes lost does not represent the people who have been evacuated from their community. Just grab a bite to eat, get some water bottles for yourself, jump in your car, and go to a shelter to help! Im going to help out in San Bernardino if i can get a quick asthma inhaler from my doctor. 8. It bounces heat off the underside of the car and keeps the majority of it from entering through the underbody into the cabin.
  9. The exhaust pipe is tucked right up in the tranny tunnel.
  10. errr, now San Diego County is up in flames....wow Pic from my buddies house in Spring Valley
  11. I took this yesterday while driving through Westminster. Its a major metro city! Keep in mind, the skys are usually blue and sunny down in Orange County, (where the tv show OC is based), and the sky is red now! I gotta go out today, ill take pics of my Z in the driveway and the sky, sun, etc. Its surreal like Tim said. Look at the suns reflection on the Accord in front of me.
  12. The fires are 100 miles away from our place in Long Beach, CA. I used to live out in San Bernardino, i know how bad this is by calling the hybridz member 'pipelayer' and him describing when he is saying from his house. Well we made the mistake of going to bed with the window fans going full blast last night. While we were sleeping, the smoke came back and now the entire house smells horrible!!! There is THICK soot right outside the door, and everything in downtown is covered in it! My lungs are wacky right now, ive been in the inhaler all day yesterday and im pufing right now! Puff, puff, give.....The sky is blood red again today.....hows it looking elsewhere guys and gals? The devastation is HORRIBLE! 50-60-70 MPH winds....Cajon pass is the WORST place to have any kind of fire. 100ft+ flames.......it wont end until the winds do, and sadly....the Santa Ana winds dont go away so easily. LOTS of homes, gone....a whole housing tract just vanished down to the ground.....the flames are licking over 4-5-6 lane hwys with ease....damn this is bad.
  13. Can you take that spider off your avatar, its scaring me, plus it doesnt have anything to do with Z cars.
  14. When my father gets home from Vegas, i will go over and take pics of the fuse and relay center in the Voyager. Its really nice.
  15. Who cares if there are stains all over the carpet, they arent permanent! A good carpet cleaning and they are like new!!! The guy bought USED carpets and he doesnt want to take the time to clean them before he installs them in his car? He sounds so anal about a perfect product, so his car must be show quality, right? I would think he would want to clean them up before install, but i may be wrong. Used means used. Juan, dont feel bad buddy, we all know you are a super kick ass parts dealer kinda guy! All give Juan a hug now.
  16. Hahahahaha, thats classic! oh, yeah, my contribution to this thread....I use brake cleaner, simple green, and a toothbrush to clean hard to reach places. I soak it in simple green, then scrub with a toothbrush, then blow all the grime away with brake cleaner.
  17. : 2.5 Altimas are 4 cylinders. They arent 240hp. There is no way they are going to "drop" any inline 6 in those engine bays without completely redesigning the ENTIRE car. There is no tranny tunnel for the trans in a front wheel drive car. There is NO rear drive anything to drive the rear wheels. Everything will have to be made from scratch and attached to the chassis. This is what automobile manufacturers spend MILLIONS on....research and development. Its like reinventing the wheel. This is the type of custom work a MAJOR shop would be doing if it was to be done, and it would cost well over $50,000. I dont know if you are serious, but i think you are coming here pulling our tails. I really dont think someone would buy a brand new 2004 car and think about doing what you are talking about. No way is this gonna happen, no way, nah ah..... Whats for dinner at your house?
  18. Older Audis also seem to use the same hat.
  19. My father called me up to come look at his 98 Plymouth Voyager van because the dash lights stopped working. It took me 10 minutes to locate the fuse box, lol. I found it under the hood. It is called "Fuse and Relay Center". Its a long black box with every single fuse and relay NEATLY marked. It is so cool. I was thinking i would use this very same box when im doing a 240z with my nissan v8 in the near future. Anyone else seen this box? Its so trick! 8)
  20. why was i thinking zx when he specified z?
  21. open end wrench the 4 14's on the driveshaft/diff flange. Use 2 wrenches, one to turn the bolt and one to hold the nut on the other side.

  23. Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN) for 6 a.m. While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, he shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG). He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA), designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA). After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA) he sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO) to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN INDIA) he got in his car (MADE IN GERMANY) and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB. At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day, Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL), poured himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE) and turned on his TV (MADE IN INDONESIA), and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in AMERICA.....
