thank you. i did the manifold thing and it ran very rich. it was picking up the cold air inside, thus it smelled VERY rich. now, what if we did this on turbocharged engines? would the extra fuel help out a bit?

no i dont agree. the seq firing is done via crank sensor (i think) so why would it run out of time to open and close? what time are you talkign about? at high rpm the injectors fire so fast, it would be just like a batch system. i dont see any driveability problems here. I am goign right now to research some m30 stuff and i will be back with some info.

well the import ban has gotten to me over the last few minutes, so i decided to send these guys an email. _________________________________________________ Hello, I run a car club for classic nissan/datsun z cars. we are all coming to visit and hang out at the 66 car show. But, we all do have many questions. Most of us would like to know most, why you dont allow classic imports to participate? All of us do have a strict respect for classic domestics. We do have something to show off, and some of us even stuff V8's under the hoods. Id like to know why we are not allowed to participate, and why all imports are not allowed? i have 1 89 IROC and my father has a vette, but i, along with the entire import crowd, would love to show our cars off just as much as you guys do. Is there something that we can organize? Im thinking placing the imports in another section next to the domestics. It would give lots of those guys something to do and take pride in their cars. I know its too late this year, but what about next? Thank you much,

Hello all, Ok there is a huge classic car show out in san bernardino Sept 19-22. This is a huge 4-day event with lots of stuff going on! Live music, hundreds of vendors, tons of food! They hold the car show is on saturday and sunday, both starting at 9am and they go until 11pm. We cant enter our z's cause they dont want any imports, but the whole event is very fun! I want to get everyone together and start a z caravan up to the show on Saturday, mid morning. We will all hang out and walk the streets of downtown (the car show covers the entire downtown and has over 2000 cars). We will all park together in the parking structure and walk to the show. It would be nice for us to hang out all day together and cruise back. tony will your install be the same for n/a L28s?

how are you gonna bond the fiberglass to the metal? rivets will look cheap.

well got everything painted yesterday and im installing the f/i again today. got rid of carbs. i think the f/i will be better for living in LA and better for performance.

i filed and cut many parts on my TB. first off , i used the shaft from the 280zx TB. i filed with a very thin file the extra amount it would take to slide the 60mm plate in there. i also got the screws to fit and hold the plate in the TB. next i went to work filing the outer part of the 240 TB so it wont hit the intake manifold. Keep in mind that i used the 280zx shaft so it would not go the extra length and hit the #1 runner on the manifold. i will post pics of my TB tommorow.

ok guys i have a 240sx 60mm throttle body that i am installing on my l28 which requires me to port the manifold and make a custom 1"spacer to clear the #1 runner on the manifold. its going very good, ive done most of what needs to be done. now my biggest concern is getting the TPS that goes on the TB. Do you guys know if this is the TPS thats on the sentra as well? if it is, does anyone have them? TIA dk

the infiniti M30 has an f/i system that might work on our l28's and it is sequential fire too. i am interested in this and i am looking for more info leading to a sucessful install. how do we hook up sequential injectors? when do we need them to fire? stuff like that. BTW the M30 has the same engine the z31 has.

hey tony fruzza, or others who my care to chime in. can you contact me privately through email so i can get instructions on how to replace the entire 280zx n/a harness with the 300zx n/a harness. i know you did the 300zxt harness, so your help is very apprieciated!

jeff i would be interested in seeing your r&d results. now this would take away from having to run the stock fan and driving it, resulting in quicker revs and quieter engine. how much is their elec pump going for?

there is this house on the other street behind us and they have this puppy pit bull. the thing cries and cries and cries. there is nobody living in the house. they come every now and then to work on the house. the dog constantly cries and cries. when they are there, they tell it to shut up. The dog NEVER has water or food. it is chained up to a 2foot chain and it cant get in the shade. the dogs collar is on so tight that its skin is getting raw, and it is starting to bleed. So my girlfriends cousin and i decided to give it some water and food. we lowered a dish of water over and it drank it empty 4 times. i need help here guys. this is some sad $hit! does anyone want this poor dog? its not mean yet, but it will get mean if they keep it like this. we can prop the gates open or something so they think it escaped. who can i call to help me? im doing something about this right now asap. the owners are mexican gangbangers. looks like they fall into the stereotypical aholes that think they need a pit bull to be cool. here are some pics of the dog and its living conditions. the entire house in the backyard and the frontyard is secure. The frontyard is 100% locked down, so it is impossible for the dog to get out. So why must they chain the poor thing up like this?

i emailed the SPCA-LA and they said they will come take a look at the dog in the next day or so. i really hope they do. also, i hope the owners get fined. i will know if the spca comes out because they only have my address and they will come right here.

ok heres some stuff... i wear contacts cuz i hate my old glasses. My eyes are getting a tad worse and i need my contacts updated. when can i have the surgery? do i have to wait till my eyes stay in one place for a while or can i just go and have it done and get my eyes fixed right there on the spot?
