hey i cant find a place anywhere that i can buy new lifters for the p90a head. anyway im really not into buying new ones since i heard they never have to be replaced. How do i clean these suckers? im gonna take them off and soak them in deisel fuel for like 3 days and then scrub. what have you guys done to replenish these lifters?

i am NOT paying MSA $120 for some rod bolts. they are crazy! where can i get some rod bolts to handle 15 psi? i am going to use the stock n/a dished pistons, rods, and crank.

Ok this is for the turbo guys or whoever has a p90a head. im getting the p90a rebuilt in 2 days and i also bought a high capacity oil pump for a nissan bluebird. I cant remember when and when i heard this, but somebody told me to drill out the passage that goes from the block to the head. were they right? i will drill it a tad before the head gets machined.

oooh ooooh oohhhh i know. After reading this post again, it has to be the valve springs. I dont think the oil pump has supplys enough pressure to work with those springs at that rpm! i dont know if they make a better pump than the one i have, i have a oil pump out of a bluebird. might wanna try that. Better yet, change the springs to stock turbo ones and see what happens.

i think that would be the sweetest thing! The 240sx is around or a little more than a z car in weight. I hope all the hybrid guys reply to this because i wanna see it!

ok i know there is electric water pumps, but is there power steering pumps also? i was in the driveway now toting a complete engine around and i was thinking how nice it would be to get rid of that big bulky power steering pump on the engine and the belt too. it must weigh a lot. does anybody know of any pumps i can mount on the fender wall or anything that would allow me to eliminate the stock pump and also provide enough pressure for the power steering system? thanks

When did the Hybrid Z website come about? Who started it? Who were the first guys here? Who was the first to finish a documented conversion on this website? Im just curious as i cant find any info anywhere. Maybe im not looking in the right places. Hope this thread strikes up some thoughts/memories for some of you guys!

Well guys the arizona z car fiberglass stuff fell through and wont work out. i wanted to know who would be interested in REAL carbon hoods for their early 70-78. man that is a news article that is like a sad novel. hopefully these kids will mature a tad bit as they grow and realize that you dont street race, especially if you cant handle it. Hopefully they will grow up and be mature enough to get another z and fix her up.
