you got me worried how can i tell if my weld is good? it isnt pretty but hitting a 2x4 on each beam with a dead blow it doesnt budge good enough? they are all welded all the way around

I love it ill pull the cage out crome dip it then that would look killer... darn not enough room for the disco ball

Im toying with running a bar to the dash bar if I dont I will remove that bar. The main hoop is weded together and then the plate was added. thanks for the help.

I'm stumped with what to do with this space it's between the cage rear strut and rear cross bars access is not the easiest but I want my zx to look show car-ish when it is done. any suggestions?

here is what i have right now. Keep in mind I'm an electrician not a welder i know the welds are stout and have good penetration. Also they are welded all the way around what a pain in the ars. here is the start going to go through and put gussets in still. The middle bar is just sitting in place its not crooked you can kinda see here i went through the firewall and attached to the struts(not welded in yet hopefully it will be close to done tomorrow if no work comes in. Hows it looking. Im kinda thinking (with the x that still needs to go in the rear) getting a flat steel peice and busting the plasma out and carving zx or s130 or something any suggestions?

I built shevles in my garage out of good old 2x4s ther have supports about every 6' and they are super strong. I weight close to 250 my roommate weights close to 230 and my buddy is close to 310 and our butts didnt collapse it lol. 3/4 ply and 2x4s I figure its good enough for a house and fairly cheap got about 200 bucks into the 20ish foot wall floor to rafters.

im going to do mine out of the same tube as the rollcage itll make it look all the same that way just my .02

Thats kinda what i though no biggie ill put them up is the rear x required on the two down bars that go to the back?

would it be strong enough if I stopped with something like this it would make a cleaner look if not I can x it all the way to the top

I love this logo im so not computer savvy it sucks. it came out great on my business cards but sucked on there add i love the transition from thicker to thinkker lines the main logo is the only bad part (the red) the writing is great thanks again

yea i did ditch this idea because it woulnd fit around the cage. im actually ditching that cars found one in a hell of alot better shape8-) will post pics

the car is a weekend warrior/ 1/4 mile the bars going back are more cosmetic love the look
