You could always get your own electrical oppinion. Me being a master electrician would say it was probably a bad streak of luck the wiring if it had a problem you would have known. I would be willing to bet it had to do with the laptop cord. Cords are often very slightly dammaged from wear and tear if it shorted that would explain the arc. I would NOT threaten a lawsuit because if there is any doubt that the cord could have damaged the outlet and not the other way around then he can proceed legal actions against you ....... for slander or something like that then you could be liable for not only the repairs but for his time remember when suing a landlord you have to have absolute proof because they have the upperhand no matter what. As a business owner (landlord is concidered) you can bill for your time resulting in you trying to sue them and then loosing. Cut your losses I get Tagged all the time if your wife is not hurt by now she will be fine. Whats the cord going to cost 100 bucks thats still small claims youll go there spent hours of your time to get told to bad. I hate to say the above but I think deep down you know Im right. What you can do is have a private home inspection done..... If anything comes up ie mold mildew etc etc and they can tell you how long its been there you can get out of your contract and possibly get reimbersed for the time when you had to live with that. Just my .02 (sorry ive been up for 18 hours time for bed but spelling shut off about 2 hours ago)
might not be but its worth a shot also though that you might wanna check the lines etc etc check rear end bushings the extra weight could add alot to many componets
sounds dumb but make sure the tank has the little rubber strips between the straps ans the tank you may have lost one one...... or the tank coule be loose the added weight would hold the tank down. Just my .02
no the mellons will be next to me gotta have something to hold at stop lights lol im going to build basically a platform accross there "raise" the amp out of there in the center facing back. Also going to put a couple hidden compartments behind the seats for stuff like tools nos bottle etc etc. No im not spraying but instead thinking use it for misters to cool the ic.
so ok heres what im thinking im toying with the idea of having nos misters spary the air to water radiator to help really drop the temps is this an ok idea? also this car is only a weekend warrior and 1/4 mile car so yea. now as far as it goes if i were to run around for a couple hours playing would this intercooler be good for that or not?
Run like hell you found the matrix man lol I believe the purpose of this is to stur the exhaust a little befor the o2 sensor. If I remember right they decided the o2 might read better if the airflow is broken up a little. Just my .02 might not be worth anything but its a shot
First off sorry if this has been covered but i cant find it on the searches. Has anyone here used a air to water intercooler in a zx or even a z. From all ive read they seem to kick butt but it also has more to go wrong. What do you all think about these. Pros Cons. Im leaning heavy toward using one but yeah If there is a good reason someone please shove me back
Maybe its me but I would just drop a diffrent temp thermostat in there cause it to heat all the fluid up faster Hell on all the thermostats I install I drill a very small hole in the housing it allows a small amount of coolant to flow. I would think where you are your car would always be warm just my thoughts though
dont know if it will work on these cars (fuel injected) but on my jeep when I had to find a vaccume leak I was showed a awsome way. A propane torch not lit but the gas coming out follow all the lines with the car running listen for the idle to change and your leak is right there. worked great on my jeep but again Ive never done it on the fuel injected but it might work. Might be worth a shot.
Mabey its me being retarded mabey its the cold medicine but I for the life of me cannot find what the bw s400 comes out of best I can find is a 12L truck can anyone help me out here so I can move on to the next bored stuck in bed find lol. Thanks again in advance
Go buy a cheap electrical tester it will have a voltage dc and ohms tester touch bare metal if you can or a screw in the dash (with the black lead)set the tester to 12 volts run the wires until you find one that has power with the key off. Mark it with a label as power. Flip the key on run the wires again now there should be another live Mark it as switched power. Then switch the tester to ohms run the wires left over not the ones marked it will show ohms when it is on the ground(continuity) mark that one ground. If this doesnt help you you might want to take the car to a installer and have them put it in.
ill reweld them then so the weld is visible not a big deal. Im going to have to weld them in very awkward angles lol its not going to be fun but yea it can be done.
