  1. yea kinda like that im going to match the rear bumper to have the little ledges like the msa side skirts so the rear end looks like its suppose to be that way

  3. i learned my fiance can find small imperfections ask a girl to run there hands over it they will tell you where it is high and where it is low because they often do not have callused hands like us guys do lol.
  4. all but the main hoop will work im going to bend the main hoop myself and work it out just like you i didnt care for the fit and how loose it was

  6. Ok I talked to a buddy of mine he said to run twin t-3 super 60s but then he said he knows someone selling a set of Holset turbos that are comparable. Any one ever delt with these? OK a little history the engine is going to be a tt sbc 383 fully forged 4340 cromoly( I think thats the number and the spelling forgive me if its not). This car is going to be a drag and weekend warrior not daily driver. (no my car wont be dressed in drag lol) Im looking for around 500rwhp. I have posted and kinda started this conversation but I figure this way I can get all of your oppinions about what to run because the first one was titled "intercooler for twin turbo". Before you ask I will get all the specs monday he ended up not working sat like he said he would (cant blame him one bit). Also I would like to be full boost around 2500rpm or close there to and I ideally want to run 20psi (yes I know I'm all over the charts but 20psi will be fine). While Ive got your attention whats wrong with the built in waste gates? I see they are way cheaper I know theres a reason but I just would like to understand this better. Thanks for your time I am very very confused and have spent around 5 hours today trying to find anwsers. I cant find any good sources I trust. But I do trust all you folks so if you dont mind hit me with your wisdom.

  8. when i use to get pulled over in my redline for this i always said the bracket was on back order lol worked for a long time plus the plate rested in the front window
  9. if you dont want to get pulled over might want to check on your states front plate laws

  11. I will find out the specs from the engine builder tomorrow. What all do you need to know? Here is what I can think of. cam specs Heads compression ratio Like I said it will be a fully roller motor and it is being designed by a pro not me lol. I am no where near qualified to design this setup. I trust you guys very very highly and would love you guys and gals oppinions about this
  12. Ok the more research the better lol Ill need around 15-20lbs and the motor will be built to handle 35psi I mis-understood the builder of the engine. Im not fully up on turbos, and have a little bit of a learning disablity. I can only learn by seeing. I can read it all day long every day for a month but until I see pictures and or get to toy with it I dont grasp it.
  13. ive actually grown accustom to fiberglass im a electrician so im always in it lol what i mean is theose freaking ridges in the cloth
  14. is there ever an end? body work is not my thing im decent at it just loosing motivation urrg. when working with fiberglass what are you guys using to sand it smooth thats the biggest pain in the ars

  19. not if you buy all the parts at cost from a engine builder trust me the markup some people get is nuts and also im trading the labor for electrical work it is going to become a great friendship between us. i am going the 383 stroker fully forged 4340 cromolly( i cant spell worth a bean thats why im an electrician lol) fully roller motor and will be runnable on 91 octane. alluminum heads and yea should hold up right?
  20. they are fine as long as they are drop shipping parts do not buy their parts they are horrible fit and itll take 6 months to get them
  21. yea cost on the engine build is right around 3grand but i should be around 500rwhp plus with a boost controler in the cab i can turn it down for better economy should be good

  24. i ordered through show cars he drop ships the msa kits so you dont have to worry about those also ordered some fiberglass fenders and got them after alot of calls a threat to cancle and they showed up yesterday. over all they look good the pass side has some what of a bow in it i think might be able to be worked out. I did pay paypal but i dont think i will dispute yet because rob actually called me first thing this morning to talk to me about it and try and find an anwser.
