  1. Just saw this.... Its my car.... You can contact me - andy@booztd3.com Thanks
  2. You dont have to use a universal solenoid like the GM to get it to work. If you can find someone selling a solenoid off a greddy, AVC-R, etc they will work. My greddy profec S will not make more than 26psi, however I installed a manual BC and Im at 30psi right now. I have triple checked the EBC was hooked up correctly. I believe it is the MAP sensor built into the EBC thats my limitation. I plan on just hooking the solenoid up from the EBC, directly to the AEM. FWIW, I enjoy my AEM EMS also. I had some issues with it when it was exposed in the engine bay, but after moving it back into the cabin, it seems alot more happy. I have controlled my nitrous system with it, and I am constantly changing the 2-step at the drag strip, as well as making logs. The Aem Log software is incredibly easy to use and useful
  3. FWIW the RB26, RB25, and Z32 transmission are all the same internally....theres no advantage to going with either of them
  4. I'd like to see the dyno chart, I'm a bit skeptical On a 74mm turbo, and an RB26, I was making 600rwhp and like 430tq on race gas....at 20psi This isnt the prettiest dyno chart, but thats a significantly smaller turbo than a GT42.......
  5. I dont know why i said buckets........i meant the head needed to be machined for lobe clearances
  6. Some tomei type A's would give you a good gain over stock, but if you go bigger than the 9.5 lift they have (I think the b and up is 10.15?) you'll need to have the buckets machined. 600-700rwhp on a stock head is easy work......been doing it for years
  7. I'm using twin 300ZX TT fuel pumps on my RB26 setup, and its working flawlessly........also running E85 and making ~700rwhp I've actually never seen a Z32 TT fuel pump die....for the record. I've had 3 walbro's die on me personally.....(GS342) I have personally seen a single Z32 TT fuel pump (without any voltage boosters) make 600rwhp on 93 octaine...... I have never seen a single walbro 342 make anywhere near that....
  8. Neat! Its always a good day at the 'strip going faster than your previous best
  9. joel got ripped off pretty hardcore on his car by some company......supoosed to do alot of work and hardly any of it got done, and what did get done was half assed......I think he lost about 50k+ money on the deal....
  10. Non Turbo Z32 clutches will work......I HIGHLY suggest going with a clutch from South Bend Clutch (DXD Racing) http://www.dxdracingclutches.com/home.html I have been running the same Feramic Type-X 6puck clutch in my car for 2 years now, and it has seen quite a few mid 10 second passes and TONS of 11 second passes and highway blasts. I've installed lots of RPS clutches as well and they probably hold just as well, however the pedal stiffness is through the roof compared to the DXD stuff. PM me for more info, i can get you in contact with the right people
  11. You could cut off the flared end of the regulator and Earls makes a compression fitting that converts to AN-6
  12. Man, I have the newest car on that list by quite a ways, lol
  13. Follow the advice of the members previously posting......also, i can modify you're wiring harness at a cost if you prefer Wiring is one of those things I dont like to give direct advice on, because if I post it and you blow it up, I dont want to be held accountable
  14. Yes, its working now....wasnt earlier this morning...
  15. I dont know why the 10.4 video isnt working, its almost like youtube removed it....
  16. Sure they do, as a matter of fact, they continue to get faster
  17. I didnt like it.......it made the car not streetable at all...
  18. Car was running great the night before but as soon as I got to cordova it started breaking up in 2nd,3rd, and 4th gear in the higher boost range......im starting to wonder if the E85 winter mix found its way into the car... 11.1 @ 125 1.5 60 foot In-Car Sideline 11.5 @ 123 1.9 60 foot The car was breaking up worse and worse In-Car Grandstands Timeslips Curious as to what that 11.5 pass would have been with a 1.5 60ft....
  19. 4 puck? thats going to be a bitch to drive
  20. Congrats, its a good feeling isnt it? My car has been in a small photo in Sport Z magazine, and also will be an upcoming feature car in Modified Magazine.....who knows how long it will be until the modified feature though, the professional took the pictures probably a year ago...
  21. When times get tough.......I pull out the R.G.S.
  22. WD-40 gets own3d by PB Blaster in every test I've ever performed. If you havent ever used it, I'd suggest picking up a can of it. It can be had at any major parts store.....
  23. Using anything other than an impact gun is a PITA......suggest finding an air compressor and air gun to get this job done.... Judging by some of the questions from the OP, I sense some newbness in this thread....... Ensure you use Locktite threadlocker on the flywheel bolts when re-installing them
  24. I would suggest looking at South Bend Clutch (DXD Racing) I have purchased several of the clutches. They hold up more than RPS does, and they even have lighter pedal feel. I have been running this clutch for a few years now and its holding up to 1.5 60foot times at the track, and has held over 650rwhp/500rwtq before...
  25. I may undertake the project this winter of trying to get power steering on it, and get an actual sway bar on it, that would make the car 10x better, haha I would also like to get a set of semi-sticky tires on some new wheels. My wheels are rather dated (like 4 years old) and some new good looking wheels would be sweet!
