  1. I have no clue, this one's going to be used to modify, in order to mate up to a 4l60 or 4l80
  2. Guys I need to find an RB20 auto bell housing, or if I have to, I'm willing to purchase an entire tranny. Does anyone have any leads that are stateside and willing to ship? Thanks
  3. Could be, maybe radio shack is playing games I could have swore when I went there the first time the ones I bought were 6w/6ohm but when i went there last week they only had 10w/10ohm and no place for the 6'ers.....
  4. For all you guys worried about bad gas mileage this, bad gas mileage that...........GAS MILEAGE ISNT IN THE PARTS - ITS IN THE TUNE! We have fuel systems with returns, that means we're recycling what we're not using.......if you can get your hands on one of those fancy standalone ECU jobbies, and be on the hook with a good tuner, you'll see amazing gas mileage. I average 30+mpg on the highway and 24-25ish in the city on my 550rhwp daily driven tune......and if you really want good gas mileage, keep your foot OUT of the pedal
  5. Go both, thats what I did.... And the transplant for my S14....
  6. I think I typo'd in my original Radio Shack post......the resistors you're supposed to use are 10watt/10ohm, not 6watt/6ohm as originally stated
  7. Yes, stock block/head/displacement It will take a while to come on doing a pull like that, but fortunately for me i have 2 lower gears to manipulate the power band with
  8. Unfortunately i was stuck in 3rd gear after JUST breaking my 3/4 trans fork. Got some decent 3rd gear pulls at 24psi in, race gas tune http://www.booztd3.com/Videos/Stuck_In_Third.wmv
  9. Hehe, 9k at open downpipe, sexy!!!! THe clutch definitely seems to be doing its job. I am pretty confident in it at this point. It is much smoother than the triple disc and on top of that the pedal feel is like stock!
  10. I swear, I'm *this* close to going auto. 3rd broken shift fork in a few months....I'm getting tired of pulling the trans. Heres what it looks like in the car http://www.booztd3.com/Videos/Broken_Shift_Fork.wmv Happened around 3-4pm today, fixed and on the road now, we'll see how it holds up on the drag strip tomorrow, guess I'll try shifting a little easier/slower.
  11. thank you sir, I hope to get some 10 second passes this weekend! FWIW on the Z32 igniter swap, I've been there done that, here's the write-up I posted on NICO
  12. FWIW My RB26 made just shy of 700rwhp on ALL STOCK ignition.......I do not see many dyno charts on that level, but I wouldnt recommend wasting any time/money if you dont plan to go above that level. I cannot comment on the RB25's capability however.
  13. I'd be very interested in participating in this type of project, however my only RB26 bell housing is currently mated to my 300ZX transmission (that was my thread you referred too)
  14. Haha thanks man, I spent like an hour writing that!
  15. OS Giken is now on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330175143528
  16. FWIW any supra or 3000GT injector resistor box will work as well, you can usually find those real cheap I'll mirror Steath-Z's comments about the circuit. Its super easy to build. Pics of how mine is setup wouldnt help, as I've taped all the resistors together and it looks like a cigarette box now, lol. The white wire comes from the ECCS relay I believe, I'd have to go back and look but its that or the IGN relay.
  17. Cheapest place I can find it new is from japan and 1800
  18. FWIW I MADE my own injector resister box The injectors are fired off of the ground wires (they come from the ECU) and there is a main power wire that comes from the main relays on the harness. If you take 6, 6watt, 6ohm resistors (can be bought at radio shack in packs of two, for ~2 bucks a piece) and wire them inline with each power wire on the injector, it'll do the same trick. I have been running several thousand miles on my swap with that resistor box and no issues.
  19. Guys I was offered a clutch sponsorship by a company who's name I'll reveal later after testing, so I no longer need this. Clutch is in good shape and I have had 0 problems with it (besides the fact it doesnt slip, and made me break an axle!) . Price: $1500 email andy@booztd3.com for questions Thanks
  20. Got the out-of-car video finally Funny hearing my mom yelling for me during the burnout, and then freaking out when it breaks, lol http://www.booztd3.com/Videos/Output_Shaft.MPG
  21. Haha, I'll sell you the clutch for 2 grand, how about that?
