  1. I case it's not a scam, I just sent him an email with my paypal info so he can pay me. When I have the cash, I will send it to you Just kidding... But I don't think he can get any money from you by giving him your paypal email address? I don't know.
  2. This question is just out of curiosity, but it might help some people: The RB26 has 2 bolt patterns on the bottom. One works for the stock oil pan with the windage trays, the other one works with the 200zr oil pan. So does the RB20/25 have two bolt patterns also? Or do they only have one, which works with the 200zr bolt pattern?
  3. There is someone on this forum that has a n/a RB25 in his 240z. His username is ~KnuckleDuster~. You can see his car on the Let's see your RBZ thread.
  4. This is one of the cheapest ones that I have seen... http://shop.rawbrokerage.com/product.sc?productId=264&categoryId=15
  5. There's more misinformation than good information about the program all around. Everyone thinks something different. It has created a mess for the dealerships. The only good thing this program did was bring more traffic to the showrooms. Many people brought their "clunckers" in, then they found out they didn't qualify, but still bought a new car.
  6. If you are not doing any drag races the R200 should hold up fine. It's the halfshafts that go first if you drag race with enough power and get traction. Since you dont really need it, it's just too expensive to put an R230 or any other differential that requires custom work. And for transmission I would recommend a Z32 5-spd. It is very strong and I know an adapter for the L-series engine has already been offered by a member here, and it's also offered by McKinney... but at a higher price.
  7. For 400whp you need more boost, bigger injectors, and a good tune. For 500whp you need bigger turbos, bigger injectors, and a good tune (maybe cams if you want better response). That should be reliable if the motor is in good condition. For anything more than that you need to go into the bottom end...
  8. Never trust a lawyer, never trust a salesman, never trust a mechanic,...... everything is the same. It's all about money. He wants a percentage of it. That is what he lives of. Try to arrange a percentage upfront that favors you, he will try to get as much money as he can for himself and for you like that.
  9. I can't answer your question, but as far as I know the Z32 can only be transferred to a RB25/26 bellhousing. The RB20 transmission is equivalent to that of the SR20/ 240SX, so you might be able to transfer one of those into your bellhousing. I know Z31 turbos had the same transmission as the Z32, but since yours is N/A then the transmission might be the same as the RB20 and be transferrable.
  10. I have a 78 280z, I'm sure it will pass smog, but you need to put the engine/transmission back in it. I took it out because I was going to do a swap. It was running good before I took the engine out. You can see some pictures in my profile I think. I need the space, and don't really have time to put it back together. Let me know if you ar interested.
