Where can I find a complete description of the Honda wiper motor upgrade? Anyone know?

Sorry but I don't know the thickness. I think about 1/8th. I live in sunny Southern California so I'm generous with Armorall. It really works. I'm the original owner and the factory dash was good for over 20 ears with regular Armorall use. I got mine form Motorsport Auto in Orange Ca. They are easy and good to deal with. Good luck.

I hope this will help you. A local shop made these trim rings from flexible door trim. They look pretty good I think.

I was planning on going to rear disk with the MSA kit. Then I read that it really doesn't improve braking. What was supposed to help improve braking was going to the Toyota front brake mod. Any input on that? It certainly would be cheaper & easier from what I've read.

I bought a set here but I can't remember from who. They were much cheaper than $1000.00. Around $200.00 each if I remember right. Someone will chime in with the right member name. Mine do not hae the speaker holes. Check them out.

I'm looking for the little square "buttons" that go on the heater/vent/fan controls for a 71 Z. Any one have any?? Thanks.

In the pictures you've shown the last (install in 240z) is the location I used. The window will work fine. As for the uneven door panel The front of the speaker is fine as for the back I made a little "filler" piece to fill in the gap. I used balsa wood because it was easy to work with. A contour gage and cut it to fit with an exacto knife. Painted it black & all was good. I used that system for years. Someone on the forum makes fiberglass kick panels that will house a 4-4.5 inch woofer. I'm using that now with tweeters in the doors and larger (6 x 9 ) speakers in the back. Good luck.

So I decided to go down to MSA Z bash for the first time since my Z was looking pretty good. All was well until traffic on the % freeway went "stop & go". the guy in front of me stopped dead and so did I. The guy behind me in a Tesla...not so much. I got rear ended. My Z is in the shop waiting for $$ from the guy. I'll post again when I get it back.

Sounds like a balance problem since it only happens at certain speeds. Just my .02

Thanks for the feedback. The first links only took me to Wikipedia and info about the engine. I don't know why. These new links told me what I wanted to know. Basically it is not a easy swap. I thought I would save some money because I have a nice 91 Q45 that is not worth much money but the engine/trans are in good shape. The fabricator wants $10,000.00 for a ls swap total. I thought I would save the engine/trans costs but it looks like the swap details would eat up the savings. In addition the shop (Bones fabrication) is very familiar with the LS engines having swapped them into many different bodies. Anyway thanks for the help.

Thanks for the info. These links led me to info about the engine. Anybody have anything on the feasibility or difficulty in swapping the Q45 engine/trans in to my 71 Z? I'm not very savvy on the details but have access to a really good shop. Any and all info appreciated. Thanks.

I'm thinking of a V8 swap. The local speed shop is keen to do a LS and I'm thinking it over. Meanwhile I have a 91 Infiniti Q45 that runs great with 175,000 miles on it. I'm wondering about the possibility of swapping the Q45 engine/trans into my 71 Z. Has anyone done this? Any ideas about doing this. I will appreciate any and all feedback. The car will not be raced but just a Sunday driver with a little extra balls. Thanks.

Thanks for the feed back SD. Good advice ! I'm still considering an L28, especially if I can find a turbo. The local shop is really high on ls engines but the labor to install would be much less with an L28 even a turbo. So I'm still looking and saving. I'm not in a hurry.
