ive noticed that age means nothing as well. at the events and meets we sometimes have, people cant believe im this tiny 19year punk kid who they have talked to online all this time, when they see me. hard work, knowledge (research), patience and persistence will always get u ahead. Everything from college, marriage, work or even working on ur z car. imo these are valuable things to have. just my opinion anyway.

is there such a thing? haha. seems like something always needs fixing or " could be made better". that always gets s30 (and most other z car) owners in trouble. got to love it thou.

Thats how i had originally planned it to be, but i ended up blending in all the way. oh well, ive never been the kind of guy to plan ahead. Any who is this how u guys are picturing it? Like this right? The indent is gone. but a small line remains (where the metal and the fiberglass meet, just in case the front air dam needs to be replaced. here a better picture. Dont know how you would do it with that type of air dam thou. but hey theres still time to change to a different air dam

thanks. see that wasn't too hard now was it? back on topic, although i had been driving the 280z as a daily before, i might not after im done with the swap. I think i will just keep it as a weekend warrior and get a 240z as a DD instead. or maybe an e30 3 series.

it may be a z forum, but if you've noticed, we don't have loyalties to anyone here. People are swapping all kinds of parts from all kinds of cars into their Datsuns. what u like is what u like. thats great that you dont like bimmers. but i happen to. is that ok with u? and btw thats not what my sig says. u added the pos part. i was able to connect a few hoses to make it connect to the datsun plastic rubber neck thing. not pretty but it works and looks factory.

Ive sent the list to Steve. (didnt want to post it without his permission). I think hes going to be putting it up though. and yes ktm u are early on this list.

thats a stock hood that has been modified to fit rally lights and has steves hood vents. (steve is the same guy that is making the carbon fiber rear panel in my other thread.) You can email him about it at scr2004@pacbell.net. im sure he may have another one hes made.....maybe?

i have my sumped 75 280z gas tank im trying to sell. oh yea and have you thought about an ls1 gas tank? it uses the stock fill spout.

he knows there is a huge interest in these panels and i have shown him this thread. He just needs to find time to make these panels (and make them right without rushing them into production). sorry that this is takin so long guys. Wish i could do something about it other than nag him all the time. They will make it into production and i will send out notices to everyone on the list (and this thread) when something DOES happen.

good thing u got away then. as a general rule i don't bid on stuff that doesn't have a picture. i want to see what im getting. If im interested enough in something that doesn't have a picture, i will ask the seller for a pic.

Everyday. but since its in the middle of being worked on....i havent in 3 monthes... but after im done working on it, it will be my daily driver again.

for my case i don't think a rear diffuser would make the car handle worst. Heres my reasoning. i just did a ls1 gas tank swap and i cut my spare wheel well out so it places the tank higher. but it left a giant gap between the back of the gas tank and the rear of the car. The stock gas tank had covered this area before. Now it looks to me like a giant area where air could get stuck against the rear of the car (shaved bumper area). The rear diffuser would block of this area and carry the air all the way from under the car. hope i described that well:hs:. ill see if i can get pics if anyone wants to see what im talking about. maybe a rear diffuser would benefit people who have done a ls1 gas tank swap. just my opinion anyway.
