  1. ok, i misunderstood. thought it was a single panoramic photo with the extended exposure deal.meh, not a photographer, again, lol.
  2. by no means am i a photographer, but this looks photoshopped. i just figure since the frames are sequential and you should be driving forward, the later frames would either be blended or would over lap the earlier ones. am i crazy here? how the hell did this picture happen? haunted camera? lol
  3. i have the exact same set in better shape on a parts car that i'm soon going to be removing everything useful from and hauling to scrap to make room. if anyone is interested....
  4. lol, i almost bought that shell! crazy small ass world.
  5. LOL, i understand that. i was only talking about the USDM version, the 240sx. planning a move to finland sometime in the next 2 years and I understand they have the 200sx there as well. can't wait!
  6. The 240sx never came with a 4-piston setup, which is what he is looking to equip his car with. i've also wondered what is involved in using the 30mm aluminum z32 setup in front and the dual piston rears. would love to have the sumitomo "NISSAN" stamped gear smiling through my wheels like i have on the 240sx. please and thank you for anyone with info on this.
  7. That ....... THING on the first one spoils the whole damn car.
  8. That Absolutely Does Look Like A Car That Might Have At One Time Had Sideskirts And No Front Or Rear Add-ons, Lol.
  9. BTW, anyone figure out what that tan haze is on the lower section between the wheelbase in the pic? it's bugging me.
  10. I'm not a scientist, but I think that for most people the Z's aerodynamic deficiencies can't be noticed until higher speeds. Even then, I've only noticed the front end on mine dancing a little at 100+, but I put an a30 year old aftermarket front lip I got in a bulk parts buy from some local old-timer, and it seemed to get rid of my problem. IMHO I think a wingless S30 with a nice front lip/valance looks ten times better than the winged wonder in your pic.hell, I'd pick the front lip over a BRE 3 piece spoiler......if I just HAD to pick. plus, most of the vented front fascias for S30 can be easily fitted with functional brake cooling ducts that are easily hidden. scales tip towards the lip in both form an function.
  11. jesus henry christ, that looks like the fix for Robocop's mid-life crisis.
  12. hmmmm, i've been called tactless in the past, so i'll try to put this nicely. you can do all the best things to that car, but as soon as you slap that wing on it, it's just no good. kinda like when you mix 2,000 lbs. of ice cream with 1 lb. of poop. you're really just left with 2,001 lbs. of poop. meh, what do i know? i vote for the removal of the wing.
  13. gonna poop in my intake and tell my car to eat shite if this keeps up.
  14. hehe, if that's the problem then i have 3 bad AFM's! took one of my buddy's 77 and it works for him and not myself.
  15. i still don't understand why anyone would want more than 550 ft. lbs. in a z anyways. is there anything you can do to make it hook up with that much? i'd rather full throttle it down the track with 400 than have to half throttle it all the way down with 550+. i think it'd be too much work to get a good time out of the car, assuming you're trying to make a dyno queen/ET bragger.
  16. could do without the underhood artwork, but to each his own. however, i'm loving the center exit dual exhaust. very nice car.
  17. i will definitely have to check that out. the pump is on a switch along with the fans and elec. water pump, but as i recall, the pump didn't turn on with the ignition before i installed the aftermarket setup. i'll let you know how it checks out. i may actually get a chance to work on it tomorrow.
  18. yep, this is with the engine turning over. connected as described. at my wits end with this car.
  19. wish i could say that i hadn't tried this. fuel pressure is great, press regulator is good and i have fuel cycling back to the cell, getting no light show when probing with tester.dunno how this is possible since the wiring harness has been replaced, checked th0oroughly, and had all connection points cleaned. would dropping resistor problem throw off the pulse width? or would it totally kill any pulse (my current problem). please and thank you to anyone who can help.
  20. just raising my hand in the roll call of people with the same friggen problem. have replaced ecu, afm, efi harness, fuel rail and injectors. no injector pulse. starts and runs as long as i spray starting fluid. brand new fuel cell with surge tank and walbro pump. bought the car with this problem and would like to get this rustless beauty back on the road. have untaped and checked wiring with schematics. replacement harness was also off another 09/76 car. going bonkers. pleeeeeeaaaassee help! i already have a carbed z car and it smells like crap. would like a nice reliable fuel injected car. lol, maybe i'm asking too much of a 30 year old car.
  21. ny chance you could take pics with various colored led bulbs? kinda thinking plain whit led's would make the gauges pop out, but i've proven to be retarded before.
  22. I imagine after his donut training, this is how he'll venture the straight line driving......
  23. wow, good find. can't tell you how many times craigslist has made me wish i lived out west. the memphis area just seems void of any Z enthusiasts sometimes....
