  1. Find out they are rare or someone that needs one or two, let me know I have some spare spares.
  2. Well it is ususlly nice but I have been there when it was raining. We are experiencing quite a bit of rain lately but I would bet it will clear up by then. You can check our weather here http://www.azcentral.com
  3. There will be three Z's going up for auction this year. You can get a full auction list at http://www.barrett-jackson.com
  4. I have gone several times and always enjoy it. The cars a re great and so is the scenery. Best days to go if you are a buyer, is the very first day and the last day. Those days are less attended. Also any day that it rains. Saturday and Sunday are a zoo of people but it is still enjoyable for your average motorhead and/or people watcher. You can spend all day in the huge tent watching the cars go by while you learn every detail of the cars history. You can roam the grounds and se the cars that are coming up for auction or you can spend some of the day strolling through the various vendors' booths. The aution is in the North East portion of our valley in Scottsdale but any hotel would do since the auction ground is right off the freeway and is easy (within an hour) to get to from almost anywhere in town.
  5. I hate it when you guys post these links!! I find too many things I "need"! I found this too. http://racingjunk.com/exec/ca/view/342238/NISSAN-280ZX-TURBO-WEXTRAS.html
  6. These kits and covers are far from direct bolt ons. Not to mention these car are 30 years old. You never know if you are matching to original or someone else's body work. To get things to fit right takes time, to a shop owner time is money. Keep after them to get it right, if that is what you agreed to up front and are paying for.
  7. I'll ask at the meeting tomorrow night and see if anything shows up.
  8. Volvo has always been a bit ahead in the safety department. Very well built cars but lack a bit in styling. Here in AZ left turns almost ALWAYS = Fault. Focus on the lucky to be alive and well.
  9. That looks like such a good idea and bad idea all at the same time. I admire your determination but I would find a safer method.
  10. Bill, If you can find it can you email it to me too? Thanks
  11. I've got some nice Arizona (no rust here) TC rods if you need them. I can sell them (cheap) but am always open to trades too if you have anything you might not want. Email me directly.
  12. Maybe I should stop by for a test drive. It looks a bit nicer than my 70 Chevelle.
  13. Check with "Forrest" on this site, I believe he was the last person coordinating the "loaner" program.
  14. In Phoenix AZ, so shipping might be a real trick.
  15. I have one available with the vertical defroster. Where are you located?

  17. I'll write the check for the tax! I am a fan of the show as well and also own a 70 Chevelle it anyone wants to nominate me.
  18. I've heard JC Whitney doesn't sell them anymore, and heard of people not happy with Showcars. Hit up John Washington at http://www.reactionresearch.com for a good product.
  19. I'd pull the windows out, and install the trim first. This may seem like more work but you will tear up the rubber putting them in afterwards. I've installed you own rear hatch but you need two people.
  20. You will lose the fresh air input for you heater and A/C but it will get air in some other way.
  21. I am running 17X7 with 0" offset and it is real close to the strut, a shorter wheel with an another 1/2 inch closer (width) would hit for sure.
  22. Yep that is the place, I am sure he would appreciate a email or phone call as a heads up before stopping by. Hoods are usually to big for shipping UPS, I have shipped parts for AZ Zcar using Air Cargo but since 911 you have to have a business account to use that service. Also be sure to check out http://www.DesertZAssociation.com since you are in AZ now, we have a few Hybrids in the bunch.
  23. http://www.dotphoto.com seems to work real well.
