  1. Do you have a better picture of your pimpmobile? Kind of hard to see what is going on in you sig pic.
  2. that will help you determine such things. However your post in confusing rwhp = rear wheel horsepower, so is it 220 or 250? 80LT1 is correct, your reaction time does not work against your ET. Your ET is the time is takes to go from one line to another, it doesn't matter how long you take to start that trip.
  3. here is mine. http://www.desertzassociation.com/membersrides/Robert/280zone.mpg
  4. Get a hold of me and I can show you some of the B&M options. I have one in my car now of unknown origin but have purchased a B&M ratchet shifter when I "move" the engine to another car. Danny also has a couple to look at and determine sizes if needed.
  5. here is his link http://www.reactionresearch.com/automotive.html
  6. If you don't get your asking price let me no I might be interested. thanks
  7. I have the MSD 6al and the overall box is 8" X 4". The hold down screw holes are 1/4" in on each corner, making them 7.5" X 3.5" on center.
  8. from someone that sells penis enlargement pills. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5505015295&category=1469
  9. But did anyone think to save the picture? I kinda wanted to share that around work but now it is gone.
  10. I think most people that are saying they use coil overs are really using coil overs and have used some kit to have the sleeve threaded. Z's start with a "coil over" suspension it just isnt adjustable. Making it adjustable using threaded sleeves allows you to you smaller diameter springs, this is what allows bigger tire wheel combos.
  11. Hasn't anyone looked in to hiring out a chopped windshield? I see them making custom windshields on American hot rod so it must be possible. I realize those shows are "cost is no option" but maybe.
  12. 240Zoom, welcome here too, glad you came over, I told you there would be some interest. I too am looking forward to your documented progress. I just noticed you were planning on a Velo Rossa conversion too. I might have a Velo kit I would consider selling as I have one too many projects right now. Where are you located?
  13. Any advice on how to select a cam? I have a pretty much stock 70's V8, headers, Edlebrock intake, Edlebrock 650 cfm carb, stock heads. Not looking for anything real wild just a little bit more than stock. Car is used at the 1/4 mile track on occasion. thanks
  14. Nissan and other recommend that they NOT be removed, several people have and would not agree.
  15. I don't think he lists his stock springs on the site, but I know people who have purchased some from him.
  16. It's only pillarless because the back windows are not in yet.
  17. I'll tade you a car that you can do a V8 swap to if you don't want to use the clean 240. Nice find!
  18. I have some clean AZ hatches for sale but shipping might be expensive. Contact me directly at 280Zone@cox.net if you don't find one closer.
  19. Having a technical occupation I think I am pretty good at understanding how to conduct a productive search. However, more times than not I find that other people have a hard time understanding how seach works. I have actually watched as users have typed in their exact question just as they would ask verbally. Searching a database of information is a skill, teaching the skill is realistic, banning them from posting for a period of time will just make them go away. The only way that I have seen that works, to some degree, is establishing a list of FAQ's. If they don't get read, others can always post with a link and direct them to the appropriate information, along with a post saying "I found this in the FAQ's". It's not a 100% solution but with time more users wil check the FAQ's first. This site is an excellent source for information, I'd also like to see it continue. Just my $.02
  20. I am in AZ and was wondering who's Hybrid you bought? Anyone in the Phoenix area?

You can order their catalog at http://www.zcarparts.com
  22. Is that a two tone or is that just the lighting? It looks darker on the top surfaces. To get rid of blotchyness the car will need to be repainted. The silvers are hard to get on even but unless you do you end up with blotchyness.
  23. I think that is going to be a pretty standard answer. I have heard that 50% is the rule of thumb for building it yourself vs having it built, but that was in the housing industry (which I would guess is the same people).
