  1. Excellent........now we know what your house looks like......but seriously, that's a very nice looking 240Z, I think I have Z envy !!
  2. Sounds right, but it's still installed right now.
  3. I have one for an 83 119,000 mile turbo ZX.........I can't see why it would be any different than yours.
  4. I know I have it on one of my ZXT parts cars. help me out with which steering part it is. I'm in Ohio so shipping might be an issue.
  5. I have a fairly new alternator from my 83 ZX turbo that I will donate for the cause if you pay the shipping. Chris
  6. As long as you can control the detonation (knock and ping) and any lean condition you might encounter, you could run that much compression. That motor sounds like a good candidate for a seventh fuel injector located behind the throttle body for periods of W.O.T.
  7. The wiring harness I have is complete, with no cuts, and it doesn't look like any frayed or broken wires.
  8. Hey, i have your exhaust manifold, and distributor ready to ship. I also have the oil pan you had asked about, but it is $50, not $5. My reason for responding is that I have an 82 R-200 with the CV turbo axles for sale (still mounted on car) for $200 if interested.
  9. I have just the wiring harness (no ECU) in good shape from my 83 turbo 5 speed ZXT for $90.
  10. I have the headlight scoop, front bumper cover, the valence pieces, drivers t-top, black drivers door panel, possiblly the rear quarter lower patch panel, drivers door lower hinge, Send me an e-mail at CKelly1965@aol.com. I have an 82 ZXT, and an 83 ZXT parts cars.
  11. I just picked up a 83 turbo L28ET yesterday that I will not be using the shortblock (block with turbo pistons still assembled) that was a daily driver until it was pulled in favor of a chevy 350. Shoot me an offer at CKelly1965@aol.com..... i'm in NW Ohio.
  12. I have heard and read (on these forums) about how water injection on Datsun aluminum heads will end up turning the smooth internal surfaces into swiss cheese from the H2o abrasiveness. It has something to with the alloy mixture when the heads were cast. Have you used the turbo tom system on a Datsun L28 with success ??
  13. The color shot reminds me of Carry on Mythbusters, and I won't tell you what I could do with her repeatedly. Best idea so far was a photo album and/or CD mix for when she's feeling homesick with reminders of you.
  14. I have an 82 ZXT parts car......need a list of parts to tell if we have them though.
  15. Congratulations, those are some really good numbers for a motor that hasn't been driven and tuned properly.
  16. I already sent you 4, how many do you need.....HAHA.
  17. Generally, are the hypereutectic pistons better, and stronger than the forged units ?? The forged pistons will handle quite a bit of horsepower, how do the hyper pistons do ??
  18. I agree on the heads being a good upgrade....The AFR 165cc heads that the CarCraft article used when they got 405 HP from a stock cammed/crabed 302 only cost in the $1300 range, and actually lighten the front end of the car in the process.........2 birds, one stone.
  19. I believe that the rearend ratio for an 82 turbo 5 speed is a 3.54...not a 3.90. You will need the fuel pump, the complete motor wiring harness, and the ECU computer along with the coil/igniter. There might be a few other parts you need, but I haven't done this swap myself, so I don't know.
  20. It sounds like angle cut gears from a racing tranny (makes whining noise), and the 5th gear RPMs at 60 sounds like a 1.0-1 ratio similar to 4th gear on most other transmissions.
  21. I have a really nice red one on my 82 ZXT parts car that i'll take $60 for. I am near Findlay, Ohio (about 50 miles South of Michigan down I-75) E-mail me at CKelly1965@aol.com
  22. In the long run, a bi-weekly prostitute is cheaper than a wife, and in the short run more satisfying..........but then the hooker doesn't fix dinner for you, or clean the house.
  23. Having a relationship is all about compromises. If you don't ever want to compromise on anything, you'll be old and lonely. Get a quiet muffler to appease her and mount a remote cutout for you when she isn't around. Fix any of the fuel smell issues for both of you. Hook up the chokes to the Webers so you don't need to race the motor upon cold startup. All three things will make BOTH of you happier.....and a happy girlfriend is a horny girlfriend.
