  1. I guess you need to answer a question for yourself, is your time putting a new engine in it worth the extra money that you would get for selling a drivable car vs a shell.
  2. I did remove my hub and I'm using Timken seals. Now the hard part comes, that damn maxima bracket for my calipers...
  3. I bought flat ones, gonna get them machined
  4. Did the turbo models have a LSD R-200 only? Or was an open differential available on turbo models?
  5. I am doing the 82 280ZX rotors and calipers swap on my 73 240Z, Im in need of the early maxima bracket. I have searched the forums and found that they are hard to source. Maybe someone has fabricated the brackets and can point me in the right direction. I took a chance and I bought a set of brackets off of Ratsun, but it was the wrong type of bracket (looks like it would fit the front axle). p/n 44155-04S10
  6. I got the slide hammer from autozone w/attachment. My hands haven't been this tired since I was a teenager with the sports illustrated swimsuit edition.
  7. I could not get my stub axle to budge...need bigger hammer???
  8. Day 1 of my rear disc conversion, bought these calipers on HZ and got them clean and painted.
  9. Thanks I sent my friend your message, his name is Duane
  10. Got a friend that needs CV axles for his 260z, he has the 280ZX R-200 LSD. PM me if you have some that will work and you want to sell them.
  11. For a paint can paint job it looks good from the picture
  12. Im looking for a clean/polished SU balance tube. I like the Euro version the best because it's clean and has no emmission plugs, let me know what is out there. Pics can be sent to my email or post here, daddydonuts@gmail.com Thanks
  13. Wish I was good at body work, it's worse than my electrical skills. I like the interior color
  14. Come on Mike, favorite quotes from Step Brothers, lol
  15. I'm going to start a thread on my 73 240Z. I found this car in South Carolina, I am the third owner. The guy I bought it from had it sitting in his shop With the carburetors off for a year. It hardly has any rust, just the battery tray is bad. To date, I have changed the 240 original engine out with an 81 280 ZX engine. The original engine had a stuck valve, and bent the first time I started it up. Eventually I will get a built engine to put into this car, right now I am just making it road worthy. This is a great car for me because I wanted to make this my own creation... one day it will be a badass Z!
