  1. Took the M3 to a lapping day at USAIR.
  2. Check the wires that run to the ignition key switch under the steering column. I had a 280Z that was acting weird and there was a wire unplugged.

  4. OMG.. the castrol 10W60 full synthetic is cheaper at the BMW dealership than online!! WTF IS THIS WORLD COMING TO!
  5. I just got myself a set of Pirelli Diablo Corsa III tires for my R1.. Happy B-day to me!! Now to find oil for my M3, or pay 120$ to have the dealer do it.. omg..
  6. Woo.. Got a lot of work done this morning, yard work and house cleaning all done, now time to go for a bicycle ride, or maybe I shouldn't. I've been having tire troubles lately. Rear tire on my R1 is completely smoked, and yesterday I noticed the front pass side tire on my BMW has a slow leak. Not good, lapping day for the M3 on SUNDAY!! Anyway, my road bike has carbon reinforced tires, so I should be okay. knock on wood/carbonfiber..

  9. I read about a guy mixing his own for high octane fuel on some forum. I think I remember them saying because he was purchasing so much toluene from a store that they thought he was running a drug lab. But as Grumpy stated, the oil companies use Toluene already in the gas we all use, so I don't think it should be a problem.
  10. So the MAF sensor was getting a whole bunch of turbulence from the TB? What kind of problems were you having. My 240Z had the MAF really close also, but I will relocate that.
  11. Im dumb, my M3 is actually 02'. Also, the only complaint I have is trying to find oil for it locally. Castrol TWS 10W60 synthetic is for M series cars, which a lot of local yokels don't carry.
  12. I know my LS1/T56 was pretty hard to get clicked over into reverse. I had to basically slap it over or try to use two hands. Running PRO5.0 power tower shifter. Also, I have Kirkey large bolstered aluminum race seats, so arm movement is restricted.
  13. I've seen fiberglass and carbon fiber doors and other parts on a Japanese website. I cannot find it, and the link is on my other computer which isn't hooked up. They were really decent parts, and used kevlar or aluminum in most of the mounting areas for strength. Prices were around 600 per door. I think you could even get the whole side of the body made from fiberglass from them. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

  15. Hey, a lil off topic, but it's not an MP5, is a GSG-5 .22. You can get one for around 450-500$. So yeah, they're fun too. 18,000$ less than a real MP5.

  17. Here's an update. Sold the 240Z. awww Getting a set of 15x12" hoosiers. Probably going to run 15x12 Diamond racing wheels with 4.5" or 5" backspacing, looking into that further. Also doing investigating on wheel studs. Now that I got the 240Z out of the way, I can hopefully get more progress on getting the cage in the 260Z.
