I'm not really sure.. It has the motor mounts and a transmission cross member which makes it ready to have an LS1/LS6 and T56 dropped in.. Actually the motor mounts will fit any Gen III style V8. It has the sub frame boxed in. Also has an auto power roll bar. Get back to me, make an offer.. I do also have the 240Z dash, with the vin tag, and title.

I have a 240Z chassis, and 260Z chassis, but no way to weight them.. Lets keep this thread going!! I want my race car around 2000lbs!

I weighed the flywheel that was on the 6L and the F1 lightweight flywheel that I got. LS7 flywheel = 26lbs. F1 lightweight = 15lbs. Problem.. LS7 clutch doesn't bolt up to the LS1/LS6 lightweight flywheel.. DAMN IT.. looks like I'll be buying a clutch.. Or maybe having to get a LS7 flywheel, because I don't know how well a LS6 clutch will hold up to ~500hp. Okay.. well I'm hoping I can exchange it for a LS7 aluminum fidanza flywheel.. super.. and guess what.. it weighs 13lbs!! omg.

Storage and organization is what I'm working on in the garage, when it gets above 40 degrees.. stupid wisconsin. Anyway, I'd recommend nice cabinets and work bench and while you're at it wire in a 220v outlet out there. I'm going to be doing blown in cellulose in my 3rd garage walls and ceiling.

I've never looked too closely at a 510, but I can imagine the firewall clearance for the I6 is going to be a problem, but since it's a track car, you can just move it back by making your own and modifying whats there. I must say, that would be a crazy tiny little track car with 650HP..!! wow

I would stagger the tire size, and run 235's on the front, 245's on the rear.

The 240Z was taken out of commission because it was a distraction, and totally unsafe. For instance, when removing the engine from the transmission, there were 2/8 bolts missing, and most were not very tight. The wheels are sportmax 002 16x8's.

New route, instead of spending time on the 240z, I'm stripping it down and getting parts off it. That way I can focus on the 260Z fab. hopefully have it ready to run this summer. Anyone interested in buying a 240Z shell? How about the wheels? Here I was cleaning up where the main hoop will mount, looking at what others have done, I think I will box in the corner to weld the main hoop to, as driver and passenger side are different.

I went to Road America last night and saw a bunch of tracked out street cars, one mustang was almost identical, it was a cobra, had a whipple supercharger on it, weighed 3200lbs.. Too bad I didnt bring my camera. I did also see two GTR's.. lol I've never seen one before.

I ride a lot in the summer, and I try not to be grouped up with the cars. I just use the throttle to put some distance in between me and whom ever is behind me. I really don't think slowing down in front of someone quickly is a chance I'd like to take if they're not paying attention. My friend was driving on the highway in his Z28 and the police had someone pulled over on the side of the highway. Everyone began to merge to the far left lane, and slow down because he was out of his car on the road at the other car window. Well he's watching his mirror and notices the truck behind him is approaching kind of quickly from 10 cars back in the same lane. Well finally he thinks WTF, and tries to move over to another lane and gets rear ended. I couldn't believe it. How do these people even stay on the concrete if they suck at paying attention.

I cut them all because I'm going to be making my own fuse, relay, and switch panels.

I found out why the car would randomly lose ignition power. This is the ignition wire, and it's smoked.
