    I was on the set today for the new Owen Wilson movie "Hall Pass" when this rough 240 was delivered. No other details other than in it will be in the movie. There also was very clean BMW 2002 that came in with it. They were shooting in Marietta, GA. by the Chattahoochee river.

    One thing I have encountered working on the Z31 is you need to double the amount of time you think it will take. Anytime I work on the 84, I have no expectations on when I will finish a particular task. I would have a different outlook if it was my DD. That is when you starting hating to work on your car, watching the clock and calculating how much sleep you will get.

    You might want to check the rust on the floor pans and frame rails. The fuel tank is more than likely rusted. Looks like the dash is crack free that is plus, but if floors and rails are shot, it isn't going to be worth more than a couple hundred. That sunroof is not helping the value any.

    I thought I would see what everyone thought about this car, I am on the fence if I like it or not. I plan on seeing it in person in the next couple of days. Does not run, no clarification on rust status.

    Odd there is no engine bay pics, what is up with that passenger rear aluminum patch? No pics on the quarter glass interior, could be a ton of filler on that car. Ain't feelin the dash or seats

    Not useless to me, I have yet to see a actual customers before and after dash. Looks good, I did not know that they had quit doing the S30 restorations. I haven't spoke to them in a couple of years, what was the price? "chuffed", (quite pleased) I had to look that one up

    $850 is not bad, I was not aware anybody in the states was doing that. I assumed Australia was the only place. Please post the name of the company. I wonder if they have any kind of group discount? "Dash for a 1977 Datsun 280Z is $850.00" Have they done a RHD dash?

    I have a 71 that has a couple of spots of chrome missing. Won't work for a concours resto. Maybe a 6.5 or 7 out of 10.

    I had a 88 I bought new. Replaced the engine in 96, I don't recall it being too terrible to work on. Had it back on the road in a couple of days. I was at a Pull/Pick a Part this weekend, I was amazed at how many good first series Pathfinders were available. After eight minutes of car bbq, I imagine that you will have some work to do.
