Iv heard the same about that the p90a dont work with high lift cams. And take the stage 3 cam that msa sells. I have that in my engine and it workes great. Great idle and performence.

Should match the block not the head. In your case you should have a gasket for F54 Not for the N42 block.

Yes, They are rare cars here. Of the 25ish cars that sold new here in 1973 (only year here) there arent many left. As you say, they like salt on the roads here in Sweden(are you familiar to sweden?)

200 crank hp will not be a problem to reach. I have just dynoed my new engine and its not perfectly tuned. It made 180 whp, dont know what crank hp that is but i guess around 220. N42 +1mm block with flattops and a E88 head with no port job. Tripple 45 Msa stage 3 cam

Datsun 240z -73 180 hp/235nm to the wheels. Have not done a proper tuning but it runs great. Should be some more power to be had with a good tune. L28 N42 block and late E88 head Bored +1mm (0.40 over) Itm flattop Pistons with Hastings rings. Head has bigger valves and steel seats like the N42 head and has been shaved to get the chambers to 44cc but no porting has been done. Msa stage 3 cam kit Harada shokai intake Triple Fajs 45s (weber copy's) Msa 6-1 header and 2 1/2" system Zx dizzy and Msd 6025 box Cr should be at 10 and runs pump fuel (95 or 98 oct here) R200 3:9 and zx 5 speed box trim.066159A4-EB21-464F-B1C5-7E2B41CAF212.MOV

Mine made 180hp/235nm to the wheels on a hub dyno. Runs great but i havent had a proper tune done to it so there should be some more power to be had. Cr around 10:0 L28 bored +1mm Flattops. Triple 45s Msd 6025 and zx dizzy Msa stage 3 cam No port job/head work done exept some cleaning, shave and bigger valves ( head is the late E88 head ) Timing shows 18-19 at idle and 36 at max. Mine is built in a garage by a friend. Your engine should be making more power than mine so I guess you should check the timing and related parts firsthand then look into the jetting of the carbs. 40s should be able to provide enough.

Anyone have experience with Itm flattop pistons? Im looking at Ry6134-40. They are only around 200$ om ebay.
