You may want to consider an infinite baffle install if it's feasible in your home. Look here... http://ibsubwoofers.com/ An IB setup doesn't work in my house due to the vaulted ceilings because there's no attic space above the listening area. But IB is by far my first choice. Transmission lines are nice but they can be HUGE and they're not easy to design. I'm using dipole subs with the mains for critical listening and 18" sealed subs for home theater LEF.

Oddmanout84... Sorry if I seemed critical of your bidding preferences. That wasn't/isn't my intention. I used to buy/sell quite a bit on fleaBay and it was all about efficiency for me. Before a 3rd party sniping tool became available I spent LOTS of time being there to bid at all hours of the day/night and I often missed bids for one reason or another. That snipe tool was a true relief for me and, if I ever bother with that type of business again, I'll surely be streamlining everywhere possible. A good snipe tool would be at or very near the top of the tools list along with automated shipping lables, freight pickup, etc. At any rate, my experience is just different than yours. Sorry if I seemed overly zealous regarding this topic. BTW, I've hated fleaBay for a long time now and haven't bought/sold through them for years... but that's another story.

You have a point but not everyone will let loose of the few dollars per month these services cost. Also, some people just like that last second thrill-of-the-moment when they personally hit the "Bid" key. These snipe tools have been around for many years and most people still don't use them. Besides, if someone's gonna' win at a lower price it may as well be one of our HZ brethren, right? Okay, I'm back to my reading now.

Did you actually remove and clean the contacts? If so then I don't know the problem other than maybe a relay coil going bad.

Sounds like a loose connection to me. Try checking all crimp-on and screw-down connections... maybe even the battery terminals.
