  1. Would some intelligent admin please kill this admin-buttocks-kissing thread once and for all, please?!
  2. OMG... now I remember why I never remarried... ROFLMAO!!
  3. Problems?? Just problems?? Byuh... hah, hah, hah, hah, hah. This is WELL beyond just problems. Just kidding!!!!!
  4. The prep and finish work are the most costly due to the labor involved. The actual spraying, provided the paint is of adequate quality, is relatively cheap.
  5. That car gives me a rise every time I see it run.
  6. Very cool!! Any idea: Where is it available in the USA? How can this be adapted to our Z-cars? How much does it cost?

    Dash Swap

Doesn't someone here make a replica fiberglass dash? It's much lighter and more durable than the original.
  8. ...letting him know that some of us want to pay him to recover our door panels.
  9. ^^^ I would have gotten non-refundable downpayments. That's the only way to minimize such losses. That goes for any non-shelf-stocked items and any labor.
  10. Naw... he was too busy burning rubber.
  11. Yeah... boost it then juice it... and try to not blow it apart.
  12. Hey Filmjay... If you can de-chrome/clean-up and have a good chroming shop near you do you want to take on the task? I don't have any experience and would worry that I would just mess them up.
  13. ^^^ Yeah, that one's a monster alright. But it won't fly like that hemi because it's all torque and Jessie's gearing was completely wrong for it. It would make a heck of a tow bike though!!
  14. That's what he says on the Z forums. But what does he say on the 'Stang forums??
  15. How the heck could anyone hold on well enough under full throttle to stay on the dang thing? There's NO back support. I can just imaging someone gunning it and sliding off onto the ground and the monster rocketing forth with no rider, LOL!!
  16. I bought these from a guy on one of the Honda forums who made a trip to his local junkyard to pull parts for several people. I can't remember which forum but he lives in lower Canada. He pulled every set they had. I paid $20 per set for these including the extra I sent him for his time and trouble. I don't know how much reconditioning will cost. I'm not looking for any profit. I'll submit full disclosure regarding cost and that's all I want back. It won't take me any more time to have three sets done than one. I'll step up the pace if two people want the two spare sets. Or if you want three locks and someone else wants the last single piece that works too. They can be re-keyed to match your ignition switch but that's up to you guys.
  17. I have three full sets of the Honda buttons minus one gasket and three retaining clips. I'm looking for a shop to remove the old chrome, polish, and re-chrome these. I figure it's cheaper per set if I do all three at one time. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what shop? Is anyone interested in purchasing one or both of the other two refinished sets? I've included links to pics. As you can see these REALLY need refinishing. http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x214/250_GTO/250_GTO/Door%20Locks/DSCN4885.jpg?t=1233096108 http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x214/250_GTO/250_GTO/Door%20Locks/DSCN4886.jpg?t=1233096462 http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x214/250_GTO/250_GTO/Door%20Locks/DSCN4889.jpg?t=1233096467
  18. You were slacking off and you know it!!
  19. Yeah... what RTz said. SLACKER!!!
  20. $5K seems like a nice price but I'd really like to see more (and more recent) (and more detailed) pics.
  21. ^^^ He said he "built a 355 with 400 plus HP". I'm sure he used other go-fast parts.
