  1. Does anyone know if a 300ZXTT carrier will work in an Aramada Case? How can I find out? I have located one and do not want to waste Money. I know chevy used different carriers for different ring sets.

  5. Well I found out that Nissan idea of limited slip is to have the brakes selectively applied to the slipping wheel. That leaves me with problem. I have a perfect 2005 R230 with only 150 miles on it and no LSD. Can I add one. I will get pics shortly. Need some help. As far as the 2.94 rear end gear it would be perfect for my 6 because Getrag V160 have a ~3.9:1 1st gear ratio. Even Supras run 3.08 adn 3.24 rear end gears.
  6. First off it is a 2.94. Second I believe it is a R230. Third it has not sensors on any in or output flanges. thirdly It seems to spin relatively freely. Is it a Viscous? No stick and I would rather not take the back off. I may get pics soon.
  7. I am getting a rollcage installed soon. I read the article where John C and Ross C were working on a project car and John said he was surprised that the Z car was straight. But I want to measure to make sure my car is very straight before I cage it. Is there a few dims I can check to be sure?
  8. I need springs what can you reccomend for rate? The car is 2550 wet no driver. f/r = 52/48 when done. 406RWHP 245/40/17 kumho esta 700, treadwear 50 (all corners) usage track/street/auto-x/drag (in order of importance, most importance ->least.)
  9. I have been drafting my 240Z's roll centers and still need some scales to measure my Center of Gravity. Here is what I have so far. At my present hight set by old saggy springs, my car's roll center moves 1.5 inches down for every 1.0 inches I lower the car. It is like chasing your tail. Maybe some experts can give a hand. What height do I want my roll center to be? How do I raise my roll center?   13. This weekend I attended a autox school and an autox event. I drove my car till the drag radials were bald. I competed against my friend NSX and anothers 2000 Z28. We had a great time. Times were 49.9sec Z28 47.9sec 240Z (me) 47.5sec NSX I almost took him but neither one of us had good tire all around. I had an instructor drove my 240Z a few times and even though I warned him about the turbos coming on, he had to experience it to believe me. But anyway, he drives an s2000 and could not believe how much steering effort it takes to turn the Z. My car weight 2600 with 56/44 f/r. I only have 195's and have stock knuckles and steering wheel. Can I dial back the caster to lessen the centering force. I am worried about running 245's...

  16. I am going to the autox with my stock everything suspension and tokico set on 5 with 44 psi in all tires. The car rolls like crazy and I can not get a full set of good sway bars in time so, someone said I can weld the spring coils together. As in 2 or 3 coils. I am getting new springs eventually. So I do not care about these. What do you think?
  17. I am entering an auto x school this saturday and need a set of sway bars, as people are laughing and pointing when I drive the Poseidon. Rear I need to know which manufactures mount in front of the dif, and which behind. I have gotten answers that tell me both. MSA S TECH addco nisimo And who can get me one by this weekend.   18. Because you should of ran 45 series... So of the old info is a hoot. I have a book that is concerned with hitting tires on fenders because there was "only" 4 inches of travel before hitting. It also shows some performance "Track" pinto that looks like it is ready for a offroad event.

  22. Well my friend has a NSX and we are going autocrossing. So I want to be competive. Also it is nice to change one at a time to understand the effect each has.
  23. I am in the middle of a project, can I change shocks without taking the brake lines off? I am trying to put tokicos in before an autocross. I want to do it as easily as possible. Is this a major job?
