  1. I went 12.0 sec at 122 mph in the quarter mile and my little car scared the wee out myself with its stock/old suspension. I do not think Z's are know for there high speed stability.
  2. I will beat this dead horse. All Q45's are R200. Thank you.
  3. Check out my other Hybrid. .021 OS. We have probems because it tachs out at 60 mph freespinning. So it we can not get it moving fast enough to go. We need a jackshaft with about 3 to 1. This thing is about 18 inches tall.
  4. Several articles all found there to be no real difference in Peak HP. Drivability and emmission is another issue. But the real lesson I have learned is DO NOT argue with dumb people, you will always lose.
  5. ON3GO I got to drive a friend Type-R powered integra (swapped in) with a jackson supercharger. I thought Honda stink, but I will tell you that engine was very powerful and could smoke the tires from 40ish. Now that being said I found the FWD setup to be VERY FRUSTRATING, because all I could not get traction, which lead to nasty torque steer. What a waste of good power...
  6. I think you are missing the point. Configuration make no difference for power. but V pros packaging lower wieght Inline pros Simpler to turbo and build 1 head 1intake 1exhaust etc..
  7. Benefits are that when you have a pressing need you may post a question and wait weeks because no one see it.
  8. As KING OF Differentials I have have all of these, R230V R230 ARM , R200V Q45, R200, R180 etc. My wife thinks I have a family of differential. Armada and 300ZX TT are the ONLY source. Search my posts. ALL other are R200V or smaller. as for the Q45 look at mine second from left, tiny compared to R230s.
  9. Low traffic on some forums, How about combining some.
  10. where and how much for new fenders for a 240Z?
  11. So funny how people in places with bad weather think there weather fine, my uncle from Minnisota told me this. Problem is if you are from Ca you will NEVER find as good of weather 365 and 1/2 days a year anywhere. Ok here you go http://www.findyourspot.com/ You can use a bogus email at the end.
  12. I rented a SLK Kompressor. Great car to learn the ring with. I drove a 911 last year and I was sweating bullets. I could pound on the Benz without going Uber fast. I did 7 laps ~$20 ish each. My rented ride. Lots of GT3 around. Me and T

My biggest complaint is that too low of traffiic on specfic forums. I would like to combine some of the smaller forums together.
  14. I just bought some viton hose from mcmaster carr. It is not reinforced with string. I hope it has a high burst pressure this stuff was $$$
  15. Stupid Toluene is eating my buna fuel lines. What can I use? 76 race gas gas toluene. What can I use for the short connections?
  16. I have read everyones replies and I am not sure the comments mean: copies, clones, retro, paper vs com, do it right, car for real people. I am interest in SPECIFICALLY what need to be changed to make the car appealing. I stated I liked it and am in the minority. Obviously this is subjective no right or wrong. I just want to know what changes it would take to make you want to go out and buy one.
  17. If you reconize it you need it. Actually its the driveshaft flange that is of interest.
  18. I really like the new Camaro. The front needs a little work, but what an improvement from the fourth gen. 400HP! Make it cheap and small and let imports kneel! Props to GM! Let's Just hope it weighs less than the Lardstang.
  19. Here is my rollcage. How have others hook bar D at the floor? It will hit my seat right now. And yes, I drafted this myself.
  20. Hybridz: Bolt-ons are for sissies... Hybridz: It WILL fit... Hybridz: Where your parts cost more than your car. Hybridz:Where everybody knows your name, and there always glad you... wait never mind.
  21. Ideally, you need: Formula A 0.788 mm of tire for every 1 hp Tire Width = .788 X HP Fromula B 28.6 mm of tire for every inch of rim Rim width = Tire width / 28.6 All formulas according Cyrus, for use on RWD. Remember the first word "Ideally", before anyone responds about what they can get away with.
  22. Happy New Years! I resolve to get my car "done" this year! Any Resolutions?
  23. Food for thought As your car gets lighter each pound you remove has more and more effect on the car, because each pound is a larger percentage as the weight drops.
