  2. Recently I have had my heart set upon doing a 4WD swap into a car. I would like it to a manual trans set up. I would like to use a Turbo LS1 series engine. With about 7-800 hp. I have done a Supra TT swap into a 240 and now need another challenge. I figure the key to this is the transmission. What manual transmission can be used? I got the idea of a 6 speed skyline getrag or possible some truck transmission. Any got any info or articles for me? Thanks. Mods is it ok for this be here?

  6. BRAAP This is the best plane. So cheap and so easy. My coworkers and I have been using them for "Air Combat". As we try to get behind the other plane and grind/smash its rudder off. Not ribbons but the plane. Between use we have bought about 9 planes and used a lot of tape.

  10. Ladies and Gentleman... I, being of simple man, propose a challenge. Let us find a owner with the said "Oversized Throttle Body" to dyno his car. Then insert a small piece wood under his throttle pedal, which reduces the throttle opening size by ~10 percent. Then re-run the car. After posting the dyno graphs we will know. Do I get a prize?
  11. I have done the swap so here is my opinion. First I would reccommend doing the most powerful varient, just because it is some much work for any of them. So... rb26 vs 2jz Both engines are similar. Both great engines but: 3 liters is nicer than 2.6 for driving off boost and utimately since money is always limiting, the 2JZ-GTE is more durable on stock and aftermarket parts. Now if you can make it AWD then that would make be go RB26.

  15. For Turbo Appilication LT1 or LS1/LS2 I know the LS1 is a better NA engine, but if I want to Turbo one, I know I will need to put forge pistons about (8:5) and larger injectors and tune it. LS1 parts are NOT cheap where as I believe the LT1 will interchange will old SBC. This would allow me to build the LT1 cheaper and hopefully better. Also the LT1 will bolt into my application. Any info on LT1 Turbos?

Need Manual Transmission's torque specs (think about a 502 Big Block) Did a little searching for OD trans and found: T56 -Great trans but no scattershields available... this would be my first choice TKO -Torque specs needed? ZF- Bad shifter location/cost Richmond 6 Speed -Expensive!!! Torque specs needed? Any got info about these?

  19. Broke Down and Bought a RS/SS Camaro Project Car. I got it for a fair price...It needs paint and a full interior and engine and you get the idea. but is if very rust free CA car that is a RS/SS 1967 Camaro with tinted glass, four speed muncie, fold down rear seat and gauges. Now maybe I will hope the values will go up...
  20. I want a Muscle Car But The Prices are INSANE! I had a 1970 Malibu in high school my brother had a 1969 SS 396 Chevelle. I remember first gen SS camaros where $3500-5500 bucks or so in 1990. Now that I am looking for a Muscle car the TV auctions and baby boomer have drive normal camaros to 20k and Big Block/ss to 40k or 50k. What happend this is rediculus. It like you have to be rich or grandfathered in just to own a cool old muscle car. End Rant
  21. I believe not, because the Getrag 6 spd that is come with is awesome. There would be be no significant benefits to a T56.
