  1. Snakes on plane! I mean Hijackers on a Thread! Where is Samuel L. Jackson?!
  2. So progress pics. A big thanks to Ross at Modern Motorsports.
  3. I have several hundred pictures of this swap as I considered (ing) writing a little book on it, but do not know how many people are crazy enough (work wise) to do it. Update The Eagle has landed. uh wait. it runs, brakes work, and it can rest on it's wheels. I hope to drive it before the end of the year...
  4. Use all the supra harness, just take about 80 hours of wiring and bam! you are done.
  5. Does anyone sell them by themselves? How come this does not happen on the stock alxes?
  6. What exactly do you mean. IT sounds like an axle problem. I thought plenty of guys run the axles with no stops?
  7. So do I NEED one on each side of the axle? If I have only two, which side would you put them on?
  8. Has anyone installed the Modern Motorsports 6 bolt axle end stops on the outboard? I like the idea of putting them there since I alread did. Any issues I am not aware of? PS The axles and adapters look AWESOME!
  9. I need to tighten these down. Does anyone know the torque spec?
  10. Just an update. I am busting like crazy to get this car done. Body All together Armada Diff mount - Almost ready to weld in I got pics for when things cool down
  11. I am tightening this drilled R200 Mustache bar down to a R230 dif and have noticed the R230 Holes fall on the curved part of the M. bar, so when I tightened them the M. bar straightens causing the dif. to move back a 1/4". Has anyone else worried about it?
  12. Thanks everyone! My wife wants the Car-Parts-Room converted into a baby room. Which means I HAVE to get this sucker done. So I am working frantically now. This car will be done Lord willing before the baby comes. The good news is the baby already told me it wants a Go-cart.
  13. My wife and I are having a baby. She is 3 months pregnant AND I get to keep the 240Z! We have been married a couple of years. We are excited and have seen our ultrasound. That little baby was bouncing around in there (amazing)...probably pretending to be drag racing...
  14. Trying to decide whether to sell the 1993 Rx-7. The 240z is staying as that is my favorite. The Rx-7 is a red R1 with 42k, super original. and is just an excellent example. The value is somewhere between $13k and $20k. Reasons to sell I just use it for rare weekend trips. I want the garage space back but know I will not be able to replace this car easily if I sell it. I always worry about the engines life. Reasons to keep I like just having it I have considered saving it for a Ls1 swap, But i have not finished the 240z. Too bad these have not skyrocketted like Supras... Any thoughts?
  15. Reassembling the car after painting is horribly... slow. I wish I would have taken more pictures. And for crying out loud why do the doors take days to assembly. End rant.
  16. That mine has a working 94 supra gaugle cluster with aluminum work instead of the stock dash.
  17. RX-8 = Slow, They do not mod well. the turbo kits do not do much. They have some inherent issues that make them difficult. You must have been running on 7 cylinders...or he had a LS1
  18. Furthermore your investor makes the same money you do for fronting the money......as in ZERO work on his part. I would think his end of the deal sounds sweeter.
  19. Are you sure? I remember fair SS camaros for $3500 bucks back in 1990 now they are $27,000-$56,000 and parts are not cheap at all. I have restored a 64 Stringray and can tell you that it was not a money maker. Everyone knows those cars are valuable, and they are hot, you need to get ahead of the curve to make money.
  20. Good job. Keep busy, chew on flavored tooth picks or baby carrots. Keep your hands and mouth busy. Best of luck
  21. Congradulation to Mike, MAS280 For SCC! I just go the magazine, now I will read it. PS Slow down you are making us look bad.
  22. I had scratches in my sides windows, so I bought the best in the whole wide junkyard and they look the same. Can I buff them out? I believe they are plastic laminatd to glass on the inside where they scratch. Let me know.
