  1. Does anyone know if the Subtle Z front flairs can be molded nicely into a GNose front dam? Im thinking of a new setup with the rear YZ flairs..using a GNose. Terry
  2. JapTin, you ARE the man. Naturally Aspirated....my goodness! I think Ill talk to you when I get back!!!lol. Good job! Dont need a stinkin Blower!! Terry
  3. Hey I was in 2d Battalion 5th Marines from 86 to 1990!!! OOHRAH! Gotta love that Fortaje (sp) also in 4th Marines... Terry
  4. Thats sounds like a great deal. I was looking at SpeedoMotive last night. I think Ill take your advice and go that route. By the time I get back I can buy just about anything I want I guess. Ill be sure to inquire your advice when time comes. I like the idea of a raised deck etc so it minimizes the machine work! Terry
  5. Ill bet you broke the pin that goes thru the gears....I broke three of them now but was cutting 1.5s and 1.6s on an open diff..... Terry
  6. Dammit guys now I wanna take the next boat back.....I wont be able to sleep at night lol.. Well Im contemplating on getting a 400 SBC 60 over from JNJ Racing cheap. Looking at shipping right now. Thanks for the advice Mike I appreciate it. When I get to the point of collecting cams and pistons etc I will get with you guys before I buy. I am getting Ross's billet stubs next month and the Z31 billet adaptors first. I have the axles and two LSDs already. Next will be the block then start on the internals so it will be a little while but I will have everything I need by next year. Im thinking of coming home next summer for a couple of weeks and may build the engine during that time....I may be dreaming but its ok to dream I guess.....one thing for sure is ILL BE BACK! You guys def need to come to San Angelo when I get back because they dont have any restrictions at all! We could run 8s and they wouldnt care! They are so cool that way...lol! Thanks for all the HP output numbers guys! Terry
  7. Thanks guys...well I just want to do it right the first time. Dr Hunt, we can go to the track together but Ill be watching you race in front of me sounds like...lol. Just as long as its a Z Im cool with it! haha. Thanks Mike for the input. I have DD Dyno but Im at my Familys house right now. So maybe a stroked 350 to 396 would be a better option....I hear it takes lots of machining etc...Damn I miss turning wrenches.....damn it! Hell Ill be 47 before I can get back and only 42 right now......those R200s will be getting alot heavier by then I expect. Dr. Hunt and Mike we need to meet in Dallas in the future and go racing at the Motorplex! Terry
  8. As most of you know Im in Japan for awhile and am collecting parts for the new Zette rebuild when I get back. I need some advice and HP numbers for my planned build. I wanted to go 383 but Id rather go 406/412. With that said here is what I am collecting parts for: SBC 400 60 over (412) 3.75 stroke forged knife edge. forged rods full floaters and SRP pistons with total seal rings AFR 190 Heads 2.02/1.60 68CC Chambers or AFR 210 heads 2.08/1.60 76CC Chambers Roller internals Cam maybe the Comp XR286HR Single plain intake Victor jR. Sanderson 1 3/4 full length headers Holley 850DP cAN ANYONE GIVE ME APPROX hp ON dESKTOP ETC? I want this to be streetable but fast on the strip. Im also doing Ross;s stub and axle upgrade with the R230. Can anyone chime in...I am collecting parts as we speak! I have the AFR 190s already but would the 210s yield any better? Terry
  9. Thats easy! Just barely insert into the diff and count to three and push quickly and hard and they will pop in. It may take a couple of times and a few curse words but they will go. make sure you have the short and longer axle on the proper side. Terry
  10. Hey Mike! Hows everything in Texas? Im doing OK but REALLY miss my cars. I bought a used 1993 ES300 LEXUS here for $800..lol. I Miss the track days...the good thing is that Im collecting parts like a SOB. Gonna get Ross's Billet stubs as well. Im gonna tear down the entire car when I get back (if I get back) and start from scratch doing a reassemble, paint and electrical upgrade as well as axle and diff upgrade etc. The engine will be done during that time as well. I still plan a 383 long rod but wish I could find a good 400. How are the track times going Mike? I cant remember if you had the illuminas or not. Hey send me a pic of your car and engine when ya get a chance! Out.... Terry

ZGeezer, you have mail....Ive got one of these to swap! If the Diff is good and I can get the axles too! This hood scoop is way obsolete so Im sure it would pull some big bucks for the right person, however Ill swap straight up if ya want! Terry
  13. Heres the link if needed! I love the 3500 stall. I went with the Street Edge for $525 for reassurance. They will tell you what will work best depending on your setup...very professional....ya get a free TShirt too! lol. http://www.edgeracingconverters.com/products.htm Terry
  14. Look up EDGE Convertors. I love mine. Took off a half sec in the quarter for me. Went from 12.5s to 11.9s going from a 2800 to a 3500 stall. Cam is 2200-6000, 700R4 stage III Raptor and 3.54 rear. Engine 350. Terry CorZette

  16. Wholly crap! I got a new 2200 SQFT house, 4 bedrooms and loaded with three acres in Texas for $164,000 in 2003. Damn I hope the wave hits us here..... http://pic5.picturetrail.com/VOL83/533777/768886/110651481.jpg Terry
  17. Roger that! Im a DOD civilian but can ship one back for free. Im gonna get with the guy soon and hope he doesnt have a clue! Terry
  18. Bo, hahahahah. Good point. I am just looking at the investment if the price is right! Hey I found a couple of UP GARAGES here and will check them out next weekend. I just saw a way cool strut setup here that Ive never seen in the states. They have a controller box that fits over the adjustable struts that you can control by switch up front. I believe the struts are called TEINs? The controller boxes fit on top of the strut and can be controlled via knob on the dash....This would be awesome to have IMHO, no more getting out and adjusting the Illuminas anymore,,,anyone seen these? Ill make a list of things available and get some pics next weekend possibly! Terry
  19. 68-72....dang I bet he wants a fortune but wish me luck...it looks Soooo sweet in person...damn it looks good. A 454 to a 468 with some AFRs and damn..... Terry

This would def be a fun project car! My question is could I find one easy in the states with the flare work and save the hasslel or should I scoop this one up?? GRUMPY WHERE ARE YOU???? Ill try to get some better pics tomorrow... Terry
