From the description you gave of her I do not think these watches suit the profile. That set looks more appropriate for husband and wife kind of deal, you know "his and hers". The watch is very classy and she looks like a classy girl. You should get her a funky watch. You should ask her out, she is very beautyfull and if you end up marrying her that set would be a nice 5 year marriage anniversary gift. Good luck.

For the V8 setup, I vote for the Wilwood setup.

Correct. You are pretty much limited to one bracket for your 240sx calipers and its not a Maxima bracket. Here is a picture of the correct bracket for your 240sx calipers.

What year Maxima bracket do you have? There is the mid 80's model that is used with the 83/280zx caliper and rotor. There is also the 90's model bracket that can be used but need to be modified to fit the hub and set the caliper at the right offset. Now, the 300zx rotor has a large diameter and you might have to shave some millimeters of the diameter to fit. Here are some pictures I have; bracket alone is 80's version, installed bracket is midified 90's version. Now, the 240sx has a large offset I doubt any of the Maxima brackets will do the job. I believe ModernMotorsport has brackets for your combination. Hope that helps. Cheers,

Hi guys, I'am in the process of pricing all the parts from Grumpys suggestion above for a strong, reliable and fast engine. The total is at about 8k and I'am still missing parts. My question is, any of these Bowtie familly block a good substitute for a Dart block? Which one would it be? Hi Grumppyvette, I'am doing a lot of reading regarding Gen 1 V8 and I found this thread. I search your parts and found that a Dart block w/9" deck is about 5K dollars. It's too expensive for me. My question is can I use any SBC four bolt main block with a 9" deck? My application will be for my Datsun and it will be mainly street driven and occasional "recreational" racing. Regards,

Yes, it's been done more than once. The 300zx cv has been done as well. Use the search there is so much information on these swap. You will also find other alternatives as well. I've seen a Toyota Supra cv swap on a S30 that I discovered using the search. Cheers,

Ahh...I see what you guys mean. I could not see it before because I was focusing at the tire profile. Thats why I'am interested to know what size tire are those. I'am guessing 15" on the rims, maybe 215/15/60 on the tires.

Terry, I never thought that day would come. I remember a few years ago when you finished it I suggested you should sell it since the challenge was over, man, did I get bashed by members here. I believe the red one has the same gnose kit w/flairs as the black one. Can any body guess what size those wheel are? To me they look like 17's.... maybe 10" all around panasport C8 model I'am guessing. There must be more details about that car somewhere on the net.
