  1. This morning , woke up early and to this early AM meet . Lots of nice high $ iron and some Z's >>>
  2. Yep, last night and this morning , no can do
  3. I also came across that Ebay listing and that set up looks like a doable solution , pretty sure that the gurus on the site will come with a system to be use with the stock tubes. I am a buyer . BTW that Z is a gem at a big price tag .
  4. I checked all four bolts this afternoon , all seem OK, marked them in order to monitor any movement .I'll keep an eye on it and do a new hardware at a later date.
  5. What about this, I think a can tackle this type mod in there >>>> and will this prevent that bolt to unsnap .
  6. My plan >>> new high grade bolts, new washers and a single tack weld to prevent any movement of the bolt
  7. ^^^^ That bolt came loose almost a year after the weld/repair .

    A silver Z , I like silver , great find enjoy
  9. No vibration, she is solid . U joints healthy .
  10. Can I have the correct 4 bolts bolts size info and a source in order to replace them , I tend to believe that metal fatigue is a factor there
  11. Mike aka motomanmike ,this looks like a possible solution and a case of beer
  12. That is a negative, but I am reluctant to hammer her
  13. I have a Q45/r200 diff on my Z.>>>> this is the mount that set up give the former owner zero problems with 10K miles during his ownership , last summer a crack on the old Nippon metal part of the custom made mount was repaired .. and last week the bolt next to the weld repair came loose. That diff set up has a total of 18K miles, any suggestions in order to avoid future issues.
  14. I had a light rear noise/clank and to my surprise it was the outer bolt on diff mount that was loose to the point that it came out by hand. That bolt was put tight when a weld was needed on the old Nippon part last summer . >> my diff set up . the outer passenger side bolt that was loose . What could be cause to that bolt to become that loose , the former owner never had an issue with the set up
  15. That looks like a marine MoMO steering wheel, it will work they have the same bolt pattern , but vinyl paint will wear out in no time. Just hunt for one on Ebay

  21. MoMo steering wheels are great, good quality with diverse looks for a multitude of taste . I had the Montecarlo 14'' but opted to give my cabin a more Euro flair, so a 14'' wood old racer type is there in a dead center position, steering effort is minimal and for grip I use driving gloves >>>
  22. It was a lot of fun . Those rural MD back roads are wicked >> here Mike and I doing 120 MPH
