  7. If it feels good in you , do it . Memories are a great human trait
  8. That engine hardly did 300 hp. I rather have my LS1 silver 240Z for way less $ , hey they look very similar
  9. Go Zilver, it will reveal all the lines and contours
  10. I got my last adaptor last year, no problems , if the vendor on Ebay has a good record , there should be no issues.
  11. This one fits most 6 holes wheels >>>>>http://www.ebay.com/itm/ADAPTER-STEERING-WHEEL-BOSS-KITS-SET-FOR-DATSUN-240Z-260Z-280Z-510-620-C10-N-2-/121182978883?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c37118343&vxp=mtr I have this one on my current Z, also had it on my former Z and 510, it is not that deep and is solid no plastic cover, all metal . FWIW
  12. Nice sets, making up my mind on this move.I like the original gauges but they are tired, the gas and the temp are temperamental
  13. Your title reads, these cars. So mine is part of these cars, she gets 30 MPG , yes that right , an LS1 with a 6 speed 240Z
  14. This morning , finished cleaning the brake grime on discs and did a minor detail on the under the car
  15. It looks like my X box is fried ,I checked all these, fuse ok, all wires connected, speed cable ok at both ends, clean speed sensor, no ECU code. Well a major decision do I go with all new gauges and forget the originals, the X box is 380$ . Any suggestions on gauges that look and fit as originals are welcome .
  16. I have the complete 240 rear lights , with tag light, all 3 panels and harness, so you can finish the look. PM me , I will let go cheap . BTW is coming together nicely
  17. Hey, we live in a free land, do what you want and verb at will, but there is no need for insults. So if attack , attack back . The orange base cleaner looks like a good try.
  18. Leon , this post is on the non tech board, a board for basic info and no need for text book plagiarism
  19. The red anodizing is full of brake grime , I will be using a cleaner just on that part. Hey, there is a lot of know how on this forum and I simply chime in to get the vast info here like any other member on this forum. There is no reason to use remarks such as the one made by member on post # 8. Yes I do have a super detailed trophy winner Hybrid Z with a professional installed LS1. I see plenty of members who post on regular basis the condition of the car they owned . So what is wrong in showing your ride to fellow Z addicts. As far as the challenge , none. BTW , I personally do the basic maintenance and in a rare occasion if repairs are needed since this Z was built at no expense, I have the financial ability to farm the heavy stuff . So please if there is envy , I can not help with that
  20. ^^^^^ All I want to do is to clean the red part of the disc
  21. Makes me wonder on what others mods/repairs where made with the same technique
  22. I want my disc brakes to look like new again >>>> this to this pointers on best solvent/cleaner (with out taking them apart) to use are welcome
