  5. MY dos centavitos>>>>What is wrong in stating that the car came from an avid Z lover that built this Z to that level, and that Rocky has done additional work to meet the NIPPON rules for street use, after all it is a very unique Z and a rare find that the current vendor/dealer can justified the price tag
  6. He is not alone , the addiction to a Z is well known , it's cure yet to be discovered. FWIW
  7. That is why the Z is the perfect IMO to customize, not consider yet a full collectors piece, rare yes, nostalgic yes, some cult yes, the lines are almost pure European and has that exotic sports car persona , make it look as original as possible , give her power , update the suspension/brakes , add creature comforts and drive her to shows, to the local car event, night drives , enjoy her to the max ..FWIW
  8. The above for 3 G's will always be a low end car , this one a solid base for a transplant and then some>>>>>>>>http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1971-Datsun-240Z-extensively-refurbished-/161008859120?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item257ce037f0#ht_3122wt_1168
  9. HERE, a Z for a bit less http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-datsun-240-z-chevy-350-motor-and-zvette-body-kit-/321111442796?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4ac3bbc56c#ht_500wt_1183
  10. Here FWIW a high miles LS1/6sp TODAY>>>>> http://www.ebay.com/itm/1999-Camaro-Trans-Am-LS1-Engine-w-Manual-T56-6-Speed-Transmission-109k-/380611075281?_trksid=p2050601.m2372&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D207%26meid%3D7336507453775258834%26pid%3D100085%26prg%3D1112%26rk%3D3%26sd%3D171022898274%26%26clkid%3D7336510657924759066&_qi=RTM1303754
  11. Yep..... they asked for very key question on the car, e.i . were the panels all originals, the condition of the floors/ rails, code on current paint, status on A/C, glass condition, trans/ diff, suspension details and wanted HD pictures on key car areas plus a video on a cold start up , they are pros at it
  12. And when its done , this will give you a hard one >>> click on pic and see why BTW that is my 72 Z as she seats today , the heart of my sexy ride .
  13. POST# 40>> I clearly stated , what was the cost as it was asked by the site member, and also put a + or - on that figure , So <<<<<<<<<<< what ever
  14. Yep, they contacted via a PM , then by my e-mail.
  15. ^^^ in most eyes the red 240 an average Ebay find for 7k $ or so Z>>>>> the lime green Z a supercar that is well documented on the web for over 100 K US $ I do agree that our Z's are very special to their owners but there is a vast gap to be in the SUPERCAR category >>>> FWIW .
  16. Low $ a nice rat rod, mid $ a dependable ride with minor problems with enjoyment , high $ = a SUPERCAR with smiles on every mile
  17. ^^^ I have been contacted by ROCKY( they monitor this site)>>>>>>>>>>>>> they want info on my Z, but told them that at this moment I will consider a super nice vintage 510 two door/with period mods as trade PLUS $$.$$$$
  18. ^^^ acording to the built when done , A total rebuild Q45 Diff/ with CV joints setup was around 2,700.oo$+or-, no junk yard crap on this Z
