    GuysTHANKS, the LS1 adaptor/sending unit and gauge are on the way, she will have two gauges, the erratic OEM old Datsun Z temperature gauge and a new one connected to the block on the passenger side, with a mini gauge under the dash . Easy and simple solution , I use the A/C to keep me cool and this will make sure that she is also running at normal temp

    ^^^^^^ Ebaymart, is the way to go, good luck on the hunt ,over a year ago I bought a very nice 72 Cali , complete refreshed and rot free , a Zweet deal . I miss that Orange Z, well my new to me silver Cali "FrankeinZvettestain'' is sexier

    Very good point, the override switch is a back up and in my Z I use it when my A/C is on . mine is placed on the fuse box cover.

    I have this Ebay radiator , a 3 row , fit with no problem . My fans are from a 02 Camaro, 3 K miles with no issues

    My 72 Z is an early model so it has the standard 71 booster, I found that out during my brake episode, hope this help.

    I had a similar problem with my 72 with an LS1, disk on all corners, it did what your is doing, put a rebuilt Datsun booster and no more brake issues, the old booster had a tiny leak and the LS1 brain was not happy , I am not an expert but this solve my problem FWIW

    IMO, red flags///// smoker, needs brake booster, bad cabin fan ,no tags,no battery///////// but they are getting hard to find, go grab it for 4+Large in crispy 20$ bills or an overseas buyer will snatch this Z
