  1. I have the hatch lid period correct for 75-78 280z buy only one pin is intact.
  2. Yes I'd hate to put a cheap wheel on a notoriously high cost vehicle like an s-30 Z. J/K
  3. I LOVE walking up on vehicles in salvage yards. Here are those pictures by the way...
  4. So I was perusing a salvage yard near my house and came up on a 1974 (approx.) BMW 533e with a real wood MOMO steering wheel. It had a few stress cracks but nothing which prohibited purchase. I pulled the wheel, the hub and horn button all for a cost of $13.00. I had visions of putting the item up for sale and making some money. Which I did (put it up for sale that is). No sales even through 2 price reductions. So the thing was sitting in the box for a week and I pulled it out because I just finally reached the opinion that this wheel is too cool to sell, it's going on my 280z. On my Z I had a Grant fake carbon fiber wheel with it's 2 piece rickety hub design. In my garage I had an old 240z steering wheel. After a flash of inspiration I decided to measure the holes on the BMW MOMO hub and the stock 240z hub...darned if they were not the same diameter. Then it was on to a manual spline count...holy crap both hubs have 36 splines! This is going to work! I pulled the Grant steering wheel and hub off my car and put the BMW MOMO hub on...yep it fit as OEM. The MOMO hub just needed about an inch of material removed from the rear to slide on all the way for the steering column nut to secure. It's a solid one piece hub and the real wood looks awesome in my ZCAR. Plus I sold the Grant fake carbon fiber steering wheel for way more than $13.00...

  12. I have a 77-78 hood w/no dings or rust etc. I can deliver.
  13. I have lowering/ firming springs if you're interested.
  14. First off 77-78 280z fuel tanks will not mount in the stock 240z position whereas 75-76 280z fuel tanks will. This is what makes them valuable and their rarity keeps the prices what they are... Here's what I have; An EFI gas tank removed from a 7/75 Datsun 280z. 2 holes were PROFESSIONALLY welded ( some people punch holes to drain old gas..) and the tank was PROFESSIONALLY boiled out at the only place in the county that does such a thing. There is little to no surface rust inside! There is no varnish in this tank. It has been pressure tested and is completely tight. It is ready for use, or for the ultimate, could be chemically sealed by the buyer. There are 2 rather large dents on the bottom and the top is pushed in a little also. One of the missing insulators was replaced with layered and epoxied vinyl material. THESE DEFECTS DO NOT AFFECT PERFORMANCE AND ARE REFLECTED IN A LOWER PRICE FOR THE ITEM (I usually get between $250.00- $275.00 for one in great shape). The fuel sender locking ring is included. NO FUEL SENDER INCLUDED. Shipping cost is maximum figure (less for closer proximity to SoCal) and includes insurance. This item is boxed and ready to ship. $205.00 + $57.69 FEDEX Ground shipping
  15. You and me both pal, although to be fair to us it does say shipping AND HANDLING. I predict my customers will barely notice a difference in what I charge because I have always done the right thing and not gouged on shipping costs.
  16. Folks FYI, this Tuesday the 19th, eBAY will be implementing a new policy of collecting 9% of shipping charged by sellers. I understand this is to dissuade sellers from doing the exact thing outlined above. 'Bout time...
