  1. what about something like this.. You can then put a barbed hose fitting on it, use a hose and a clamp. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Truck-Parts-Accessories__Function7-Garrett-T3-T4-Turbo-Oil-Drain-Flange-Gasket_W0QQitemZ350100905270QQadnZCarQ20Q26Q20TruckQ20PartsQ20Q26Q20AccessoriesQQadiZ2865QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item350100905270&_trkparms=72%3A543%7C39%3A1%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245
  2. I ran the exact same setup on my daily driver 280Z turbo for many thousand miles.. Never once had a problem. Just dont go cheapo on your hose. If you want to over do it.. swap everything over to A/N braided lines.
  3. Good idea.. I wish I could go back and edit my response but it looks like you cannot.. I am not running a fuel cell or a sump. Although I would like to install a sump someday soon.
  4. Well at least I know with the 77s. They have a hump on the drivers side tranny tunnel to give space for a catalytic converter.
  5. Welp.. Forrest was right.. it took alittle help from... I used a dead blow hammer to message the CAT. converter hump. I was able to get them right in.. Im even able to fit in there with my helmet. The drivers side was more of a challenge for sure but I think it is all worth it. Here are some pics with both seats in place!!. Now I gotta change out that carpet.
  6. I mounted mine about 3 inches from the throttle body. This is so all the air that thats rushing from the turbo to the TB will continue that direction when the BOV opens up.The reason Subaru's have there BOV on the intercooler is because there is no IC piping at all with the Top mount. Here is a pic of my setup.
  7. Rest In Peace... He will be missed for sure..
  8. Dang indeed.. lol all to be whooped by a FC RX7 with a slight motor swappage hehe..
  9. LOL HERE HERE!!! Rick thats a really cool pic man.. What I would give to be in zero gravity and see the earth from space!! God speed on this mission and I hope the rescue shuttle doesnt have to be used.
  10. As you can see from my engine pic, the fuel rail is held down by brackets that bolt to the intake manifold. These brackets come with the fuel rail when you get it from Pallnet..
  11. Wow Ryan!! that is a great job and a great write up!.. You have come a long long way my friend!! Now lets get some vids of ya ripping through the gears!!! heh.. Looks great man!
  12. Well, Im closer to being done, all of the dynomat is behind the 5-1/4s all the wiring is done as well as fused. I used 4 gauge wire coming from the battery, fused it, then went to a splitter and used 8 guage wire to power the amps. They are grounded by 8 gauge wire as well. I reinstalled my interior panels as well as cut a hole for the tweeter and made a grill for it. I still have to make a new sub box and flush it in the spare tire well. Oh, also in the pics you will see my old kenwood head unit and front tweeters as well as my new Grant steering wheel. It is leather and feels awesome!!. Stay tuned.. MORE TO COME!!
  13. LOL yeah Phil is a great dude!!.. I plan on using alittle dynomat around the speakers themselves.. and sound dead material all on the floors when I install new carpet..
