  1. For now I would take the boost controller out of the mix and run strickly off the wastegate. (make sure you hook the vacuum lines back up to the wastegate) You might want to run a leak down test as well as a compression test on your engine.

  3. MSA used to have some.. but not sure if they are still selling them. Most of the time you just have to custom make one. thats what Im doing with my new setup.
  4. I see a hint of brown on the injectors, They are most likely stock turbo injectors. As for the wideband. You will need to get to the muffler shop and have a 02 bung welded in at least 10"-12" away from the turbo. Too close to the turbo and you will burn that expencive wideband sensor up. The car looks great man!. Do you know what AFR's are good and what AFR's are bad for WOT? what you are looking for on 93 pump gas on a turbo car is around 11-7 to 11-8 AFR's. what kind of wideband did you go with? I would also suggest a nice front mount intercooler, much better flowing downpipe and 3" exhaust in your quest for more power. I noticed a huge difference when I was running stock electronics and 10psi of boost from when I added the Intercooler.
  5. Im going to bump this up top as my setup now has changed. Turbo is now a PT59/62 precision unit. Should flow around 60lbs per min. I have not yet finished fabing up and installing everything but she should be back up pretty soon.
  6. Whoo hoo.. finally got my new turbo.. I went with a precision PT59/62 turbo To4E compressor cover and a .63AR exhaust housing. It flows about 60lbs /min. Now I can finish my Z.. the moch up of the 3" downpipe and external wastegate begins!!!

  19. Jeff, Have you tried taking the MSD out of the mix? Sometimes they can go out but not fully and just kinda make things crazy.. It would be at least worth a shot. I feel your pain man and I really wish I could be more of a help. Gabe

  22. Hey Jeff you also have to remember he is 5K ft above sea level..I bet with a good 60ft 1.7-1.8 that would net Ryan low 13's. Not bad at all man for your first time out.. Nice MPH.. what kind of AFR's are you at under boost/WOT and what is your timing? I remember my first time.. heh I was nervous.. heck.. I still get the butterflies.. heh..
  23. I call BS on both vids.. both are sped up with dub overs.. Second one is obvious.. the crx vid you can tell from the sound of the motor.. as well as look at the street signs and things before he hits it.. still cool vids though..
  24. Yes I was running some what of a stock turbo.. it was a T3 turbo but had a small T4 wheel on the compressor side with a hogged out stock T3 compressor housing. Well it was not a problem at all for me using MS. You just tune it like any other ECU using VE tables. This is the first I heard that you cannot use 440CC injectos with a stock T3 turbo. Where did you get this information? I got 19-20mpg around town and 26mpg on the interstate with this setup running 3600rpms @ 80mph with the 77 5 spd tranny.. I would say it worked pretty well for me..
