I found my solution.. heh.. I am going to run Virtual machine on my XP laptop!!! I will run Vista under a virtual machine.. there for.." have vista" but still have a stable OS. heh.. well at least kinda stable OS.. LOL.. Still not a bad idea to get a old laptop just for tuning

Does anyone know or have any experience with vista and megasquirt. I really dont want to load it on my laptop but Im kinda getting the push from my boss. He wants us all to learn it.. I would much rather wait till windows 7. So before I do this just wanted to see if anyone else is.

I think he is going on the principal of hot air raises. So if your hot side was on top and your cold side was on bottom, you would get a colder charge. I'm not sure if it would really make that much of a difference in this case though.

Sux phil, Im down the same river with my Z.. I am however in the middle of the 240SX swap. I got the bell off the KA trans and the bell off the ZX trans.. I do need to change out the countershaft bearing but I have not found a puller yet..

I had this same problem when I was running the stock system. Every once in a while I had to take the connections off the ECU clean them and plug em back in.. worked every time.. I would give that a shot Ted.. and if that doesnt work.. and I think you know what Im going to say next..... Megasquirt..heh..

Bo, 12.1-12.5 seems awful lean at anything above 8-10psi of boost. expesially when running 91 oct. I know with Meth, Garrett tunes his car to 11.2-11.4 air fuel . I think you are simply just running lean. I would get her back togeather and tune for a much richer format. I tune my Z for 11.5-11.7 WOT.

Wow, first of all THANKS for the testing!!.. both cars seem to be running pretty hot AIT's. The other night I did a couple of full pulls rowing the gears from 1st all the way to the top of 4th. the ending AIT was 120. I will see if I saved the loggs and upload em. Thanks again and keep the testing coming.. it sure does look like aluminum makes a difference on its own..

Welp, 19psi and tranny go boom. Third gear is a recent memory now. I still have 1st 2nd 4th and 5th though.. hehe. I knew it was a matter of time till she went. Time for the KA swap.. Finally I will have better gearing!!!heh.. I will update with pics of the destruction..

I am using the summit radiator. So far it is flawless. I did have to have the bottom inlet cut and welded to move it out of the way of the altinator.
