  1. Thanks, got it. What about the throw-out bearing spring? I kno that the new throw-out bearing does not come with it.
  2. Couldn't find where I place my rb25 clutch throw-out bearing, and release bearing. So was just wondering if anyone know what other Nissan car I can use as a replacement or if you have a spare I would like to buy it.

  5. I came across some extra paint from painting my engine bay and would want to paint my valve cover from my rb to match my engine bay color. I was just careious if the paint will hold the valve cover temper? Any suggestion guys!
  6. Will the 280zx turbo halfshafts work? Because i have access to a pair of them from my privous swap back then. I'll just save the 300zx turbo cv untill I get a hold of mm.
  7. Correct me if im wrong. So basically I need just the r200 LSD from the z31 and along with the cv axle from the car. Nothing else from the rear-end will be needed onto the 260. Everything else will be need from the 280z with r200. Boostdz: I'll think about your r200 cover if I can't find one.
  8. i have gotten access to a complete 1987 300zx turbo car and want to install the lsd differential into my s30. i was just wondering what other parts from the z31 do i need, in order to install the lsd r200 into my 260z. i have read through many topic here, but just double checking so i wont regret not taking the parts i need from the car, before it goes to the wrecking yard. thanks
  9. This isn't going to be a show quality car. Just want a decent paint job that will match the outside paint, soon 240z cherry red. I was thinking that if it was too hard I will just go with a gloss black and make it a day. But looking at the overal rattle can paint job that "cygnusx1" did, I probably will just go that route instead to save some bucks. Since this weekend we have columbus day, that will give me an extra day off from work to get my engine bay painted. I'll keep you guys updated on how mine turns out.
  10. I think 450 is a little too much also. The guy, i dont no what kind of paint he will be using. He just quto me for paint,primer sealer n towing. Today I called a local body paint shop and they will charge me about 150-200 for a single stage paint job with labor, and No primer sealer.
  11. I'm in the process of wanting to paint my engine bay, but is undecide which route will be better. The color I want in the engine bay is the factory cherry red from the 240z. I talk to some guys that had used single stage paint cans n made it out successful, but will the spray can paint hold to at least 3-5 years with the heat from the engine? On the other hand I have a neighbor that has a freind who is willing to paint the bay for 450. He would provide towing, and buy paint n primer seal and gurateen a good work. Btw, His background is painting motorcycle all his life. So is 450 more then a lot? Or should I just stick with the spray cans n save. So guys please give me some advice. Thanks

  13. The 2 mount that is inside the tunnel( the 2 ears). Transmission mount I already have.
  14. Looking for the pair of bracket in the s30 tunnel that holds the tranny in place. I belive it's the ears on the car. I accidentally cut mine up, so need a set to replace it. Please pm me if you have one that is laying around. Thanks
  15. i just recently bought another 5 speed brog transmission, because i thought the one in my car was bad. it was grinding in 3rd and 4th only on high gears. just yesterday i install the new transmission into the car and now it still does the same problem. i am using a act 6 puck spring type clutch and extreme pressure plate with a lighten flywheel. the drive-shaft i herd that you must cut at least 2 inch, which i didn't do so. it fitted fine on my 280 so i just kept it at it is. could that be the problem of grinding issue or is it the shifter?do i need to change it to the mustang type? so anyone who experience this kind of problem in the past, please let me know how you solve the problem.
  16. September 4-6 2010 Saturday early morning i woke up and started to sand down my engine bay and the rusted battery tray. It seem like the rust have ate through the metal chassis underneath the battery tray. So we decide to cut out the rusty metal part and weld a new sheet metal into the car. Thursday september 9, 2010  I went to the paint store right after work and bought 1 qt of primer to shoot into the engine bay. Before After September 10-11 2010 I woke up early morning and decide to take off my front cross member, steering rack and all the front suspension off and paint the parts. After installing back the cross member,steering rack, and sway bar, I went on and install my ground control coilovers kit that I bought for $250 from a reck 1972 240z, that got front end. I got it so cheap because the tech guy didn't have any clue how much these stuff goes for, so that day I got very lucky.
  17. On her way home from Hercules to merced, ca July 2009 Got bored over the summer so I decide to took out the motor from the 260. September 2010 For 1 year n 4 months the 260 have been seating inside of my parents garage collecting dust, while i been collecting and buying parts for the rb. i finally made a decision to tow the car from merced to sacramento, since this semester I'm taking a break from school and will have lots of free time. So with all those spare time, I decide to begin my dream project. Rb25 260z with  rb26 twin turbos.Â

  19. On may 11, 2009 I had pick up a white 1974 260z in Hercules, California from a guy name Paul. Sadly, if only i got to him few days quicker, I would of got another green 260z from him for the price of $1800 for both cars. So instead, he had sold the green z and I decide to buy the white 260 for $1600. At that time the car wasn't running because it had a blown head gasket. I mainly bought the 260z because of the condition it's in. Their was only one rust spot on the battery tray and everything elsewhere were in good condition like how it came out from factory.
