  1. If you are road racing the ls2 pan will be better. for street driving the ls1 pan will work just fine. Mike
  2. I think that the c6 oil pan might fit. It is a better pan than the ls1 pan for oil control. It also offers more ground clearance. I know that the front of the pan is 1/2" deeper than the ls1 pan, so make sure that it fits. Mike
  3. Hello, I am looking for some parts. wanted Complete p/s with bolts and mounting hardware and hose Stock engine wiring harness 99 and up I need the braket that hold the ls1 alternator. Thanks Mike
  4. Looks good Cyrus, I need to get a ride someday. What brakes are you using? Mike
  5. I have run the same time at Famoso and Sac. It would be very hard for a track to be .6-.8 sec off. I could see .1 to .2 from track to track at the most. Good times Joey, You have been working on it for a long time.
  6. The 1st test drive is always fun. You might want to reclock alternator to make more room for the power output wire. Try and pull your vss signal from the sensor and not the ecm output. Mike
  7. That is alot of questions. Start by looking at Torquecentral.com Also my car is in Nov&Dec issue of sports compact car magazine. They give a build sheet on the car. JTR sales LT headers Mounting kit from Hinson. I use to have the stock rear end but I am now using 2004 mustang Cobra 8.8 I am using a wet sump oil pan T56 trans
  8. I have a set of ls1 headers for z-cars for sale. I paid $850 for them 3 years ago. JTR had my set made into production headers so everyone can buy them for less. I just had my headers Ceramic Coated again so they look brand new. JTR sales them for $475 new $325 shipped
  9. I have a set of S&S headers that I had to bend the collector 1/2" for better clearance. I was using them with JTR mounts. I will let them go for cheap if you need them. Mike
  10. Sound great Sergio, I still want to see your car vs ls1z car at the track. But you need to shift faster........... Ls1z just ran a 11.1. I have driven both cars and it should be very close. M1noel---------This video should motivate you. You will love the ls2. Mike
  11. I was at Joeys (ls1z) birthday party last night. A big 40 for him. Happy 40 Joey. Mom and Dad Joey and I and my 3 month old baby.
  12. Thanks Cyrus. I have a new born baby so I need to slow down now. http://videos.streetfire.net/uploaded/812912.htm
  13. Congrats Sergio, I have been waiting a long time. Now you can go out to the track with us.
  14. The stock wiring harness on the 05 GTO ls2 fits the z-car very good. The harness only needs 2 hots added. All of the other wiring is done on the Blue J1 plug, this is a plug that plugs into the ecu and is separate from the engine harness. You will find everything you need in this plug. the TBW will also be in this plug I think it is 4 wires and you extend them to the TBW pedal. ULISES Can you post some pictures of the ecu and wires and TBW pedal. I split open the loom and followed it to the Body Control Module (BCM). __________________
  15. The car gained only 28lbs from the swap. My car has some oversteer but it is a very neutral car. With the ls swap the car is now 50/50 weight balance.
