  1. Cyrus what are your plans with the car for racing? Drag or road racing? Looks good. Mike
  2. Congratulations, one more ls1z on the road...
  3. Sergio you are too old for the club scene... Looks like I need to make your 280z faster than a bullet now. I will start pulling out the ls2 tonight and then we will put in the 427. LOL
  4. David that mount does not look very strong. Post some of the updated pictures if you can. If you build the mount like LS1240z did this will allow you to get rid of the stock x-member. this will help give you more room for the exhaust to clear. You will also have less leverage by using the bolts that the diff strap use to bolt to. Good luck on the q45 diff swap. Mike
  5. Joey you need to change your sig. LS1?? 95 RX-7 Soon to be LS1 Powered (by spring)
  6. Have you looked into ETP heads? I have some on order for my 402 but right now I am using TEA 5.3 heads on my 402 and making 507rwhp. 382RWHP seems very low for a ls1, looks like you need some new heads bad.
  7. The ls1-fd made me sell my 240z also. It was hard but now my 240z is gone.
  8. Work has been put on hold for 2 months so that I can get my pool project done. I will post updates later, I am hoping to start working on it in 2 weeks. Mike
  9. No brakes? I would hate to tow with out brakes..
  10. Owen did you sell your 240z? I would not do a swap on a good running tt300zx. the stock motor can make good hp with mods. Also the 300zx is a very heavy car to start out with so you would not be much faster than the tt setup.
  11. I was able to build my 402 short block for $3000. I bought the block and stroker kit and then put it together. I love the power of the 402 I was able to make 507rwhp with a set of 5.3 heads. If I had to build a new motor I would wait for the 6.2 block and then make a 416.
  12. I used stock 280z stub axles on my 240z. I had alot of track time with the q45 swap and I never had a problem with the stub axles. Mike
  13. Tyson get me a list together on what other parts you will need. I will give you a good deal. Mike
  14. I am not sure that i would use the rx7 diff on a 240z but they can handle TQ. My car on a 100 shot is making 660RWTQ@4500
  15. My car is a 1993 rx7 with a stock rear end and stock axles. I have made alot of 10 sec passes @ 135-136mph range.
  16. Mark I thought you had the same rims. I love the look..
  17. 235-245 without any problems I allready told you your price. Mike
  18. Sergio they will fit on your car without coil overs. They are 17x8" 4.75" BS made to fit the z-car just right. Mike
  19. I have a set (4) of new in the box panasport c8 3 piece rims. I bought them for my 240z but I am now going to sell my car. They are 17x8" rims 4 lug. It took me 4 months to order them. Brand new never mounted.. $2200 obo
  20. I love my Rx7. I like having ac,ps,pw,pm. I love the 240z but right now I am thinking about selling my 240z and all of the parts for it. Anyone looking for a good project. I am looking at buying a new c6 zo6, in order for this to happen the 240z will have to go. Brett we will have to meet up at the track sometime. Mike
  21. Heavy Z it looks like Ricks dyno was not that far off after all. I took my car in for a few runs. 483RWHP 483RWTQ 609RWHP 100shot #s on a dyno jet 489RWHP SAE 507RWHp STD
  22. Mikelly, I have been using the ls7 clutch with good luck. Heavy Z, The 421 rwhp that the car made on the dynojet would be more like 440-460rwhp on Ricks dyno. Ricks dyno is very good for tunning but it does read high. I am going to take my RX7 over to Ricks shop for some dyno #'s with his dyno before I put on some ETP heads. I know that I made 507RWHP with the Dynojet. Mike
