  1. So... at the risk of being redundant, "what kit is that!?"
  2. Pretty good but this is HybridZ... so the first member posts about how he changed his light bulb and the second says "yeah, I had a 150 watt bulb when I first got the lamp but now have a 200 watt". And then there are those who insist that flourescent bulbs are so much more efficient that we should all swap to them. RWHP= real wattage - high powered.
  3. A box fan like that isn't safe as he pointed out. Ideally you should use one (or more) with a sealed motor so it can't ignite any fumes. Also be very careful about your lighting, two painters died at the place I used to work when they bumped a work light, it dropped busting the bulb and blew 'em up.
  4. Unless your time is free, or you're a really good at body work then I'd agree with that. Sorry to be no help at all... I'd tell you what I think is the right way but I'd just probably be wrong and there's several body guys here who I'm sure know how.
  5. I suggest that we keep our #'s permanently the same, just too much hassle any other way... unless the #'s are dropped altogether. Don't put #'s on the stickers, let us do it. Perhaps an additional sticker "Proud former member of" that we can put directly above the JSR sticker. C'mon, at least put it up on stands! Flat tires don't count! Otherwise I'd be member twice over.
  6. That's great guys. I'd like to see some good looking 280ZX's as well... what kit is that on the blue one?
  7. I love playing two+ player games cooperatively. Yeah, I grew up on Contra and Double Dragon... what's the best for that type?
  8. I was thinking about how the s30's look the best (IMOOC) but saw a 280ZX with a widebody kit that looked amazing! Never have seen a Z31 that looked very good. Got any pics of a widebody/flared Z31 anyone?
  9. That one cracks me up! Now tell me, who continues looking for something after they've found it?
  10. If all you have is a creeper make sure you reinforce it with plywood or 2x4's or something bigger. I suspect it would crush the body of the creeper pretty easy.
  11. http://zcar.netdojo.com/main.htm Al Silveira aka alsil.
  12. It won't be that hard unless you get the WIAI Syndrome. That's "while I'm at it" I'll just go ahead and tweak this... polish that... upgrade this... Be strong! Stick with your plan!
  13. Leverage it up and slide a small frame with wheels under it. Then roll it to where a hoist can get to it.
  14. /drool... That's sweet! Go check out http://www.tlplanet.com/ Still got the R1?
  15. Probably the same age as anywhere else in the country, 21. (I don't know for sure, I live in TX!)
  16. Most of the stuff is gonna be the same... but I'd recommend doing the other upgrades first. It keeps it driveable and thus keeps you motivated while you also don't double spend the money.
  17. Any word yet on whether he can receive magazine subscriptions?
  18. Storm, you need to list exactly what they're doing for that price. I paid $900 for mine with just an RV cam. Not quite the cheapest but I'm very happy with the quality. Where in Tx are you?
  19. That was sweet! 56k users don't even think about it though... or leave it overnight.
  20. As jokes go, that one's not very funny.
  21. Thanks for the help guys. It's been cutout for cold air induction and is definitely sealed from the engine bay.
  22. It's a metal hood with fiberglass scoop bonded on. I'd love to see a pic, thanks.
  23. I am wanting to know what you, or any other person who is looking for one would pay for it. I don't see why there should be any signifigant disparity between the price I would have to pay to obtain one and what I could sell this one for. I said "scoop" but meant "cowl".
  24. Praise the Lord for your son! Happy you're still around here too.
