  1. Very cool man! Why did you go with TPI? Never have played sim city... have to try it.
  2. I got this. OK, so I had to buy it myself... what better way to get what you want? Some of y'all made out like bandits! Unless you did what I did...
  3. A: will it fit? Even it it fits the opening it looks like the piping would have to be modified. B: how much horsepower are you intending to run? I got "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell for Christmas... I suggest you read it, it's great!
  4. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2449477109&category=50028&rd=1 Most people just aren't buying this time of year. I hope to put a few miles on it and sell it in the spring for more.
  5. Merry Christmas and welcome! As to what we would do... this is HYBRIDZ! Most of us I daresay would modify rather than go back stock. I guess the deciding factor for me would be what I'm gonna do with it. Weekend driver only or...?
  6. It gives the part #'s on ebay... look 'em up at Jeg's. They should tell you what they'll work with.
  7. Merry Christmas to all and Happy birthday to me! This makes my 28th.
  8. Wanna make $100 on the car? Seriously, the stock drivetrain doesn't have alot of resale value. You MIGHT get $200... seen 'em go for alot less though!
  9. It's geared too low. It will be screaming at highway speeds, the 200r4 is popular as it's lighter than the 700r4 which is the most common auto choice.
  10. If you're into cars and Z's specifically you'll know what to look for. If not, report back for some tips. The only thing I can think of not yet mentioned is "what kind of conversion is it"? JTR, MSA, Scarab, "custom"... that will have great bearing on what you want to use the car for. Daily driver? 1/4 mile? Auto-X?
  11. If you're not logged in, do so. If you are... log out and back in. That usually does it.
  12. With so many "american" cars being built elsewhere and "foreign" cars being built here I have a hard time agreeing with this article.
  13. So now that you're famous do we get free rides all around?
  14. I'd try a silicone caulk as it stays flexible. Run a bead and then flatten it out some before it dries. Welcome to the board!
  15. $95 at Home Depot... I stick with Milwaukee or DeWalt.
  16. Weird... try adding "tranny" or "transmission" to "t5", "t-5" etc. I came up with some that way.
  17. A lower ratio will almost surely help as it gives more time for the boost to build. Obviously that depends on your individual setup... check out ScottieGNZ's site for what he did and why. Really interesting.
  18. As has been discussed before there are people who post non-Z related items or who just want to sell their Z and never come back. I really have no problem with either as long as it's not OVERused. Posts beget posts... surely some of them will be converted and stick around. Not that that should even be a concern. I copied this from http://www.ls1.com it's their rules on buy/sell. Rather than nix what I don't agree with (firearms, "look what I saw on ebay) I'll post it all. Yesterday I tried to buy an LSD and today I find out that Aux had already pm'd him. I have done the same thing in the past and I'm not mad nor do I wish for there to be any hard feelings... which is why I think that in the future we should follow ls1.com rule #2. And on a slightly different tack it would be nice to have some sort of way to verify how trustworthy other members are... maybe a way to leave feedback similar to ebay? Am I way out of line on this?
  19. I know little about flares etc but you'll have better luck putting this in the "paint/body kits" forum. In fact, a brief search of that forum should yield many results. There's a little search button at the top of your' screen. Welcome to the forum!
  20. Anybody know or know where I can find out? I found a T56 that needs rebuilding and I just want to know what that would cost before I buy it.
  21. I think you're right Jeff, woody probably assumed you had JTR like most here.
  22. Glad to hear it! You're gonna have to try harder to catch up with me... I used to go in regularly with anywhere from 100-400 packages! But I did my own postage and the guy quickly decided to trust me and didn't check them. I'm glad I don't do that anymore...
