  1. You should know! I do hope you're not serious. Public execution I don't really have a problem with but if we're gonna claim to be different then let's act differently.
  2. You haven't seen very many women in uniform have you?
  3. I got the same thing...
  4. How talented are you? One guy here did it in a week but that's not normal... Yes. Johns' cars does make a kit and JTR is working on it. Depends where you are and how far you're willing to go. With patience it's not hard usually. There's a search function at the top of the page, it'll be your best friend for info. Good luck and welcome!
  5. I don't know but I'll tell ya one thing: it'll be cheaper to buy it from someone who's already had it done.
  6. I got interested in cars at 15. I find out how little I know on a weekly basis. There's a learning curve for everyone and like Wayne said, "the only dumb question is the one you don't ask".
  7. I'm always happier when I hit what I'm aiming at, you will be too.
  8. What are you going to be using it for? Strictly plinking?
  9. Leave the stock clutch pedal, confuse the would be thieves... I'd suggest buying the manual now so that you know what you need and can keep an eye out for good deals. It's best to read it several times before the swap anyway.
  10. I've been needing to replace my drivers side floor pan and both frame rails. The rails are no prob for me but having a ready made floor pan would be nice... let me know when you get a price.
  11. Take more pics. They don't look bad... but they don't show much either. How are the frame rails and floor boards? Inside the spare tire well? Rocker panels?
  12. Yes. Before replacing it try giving it a longer charge on a charger. Longer charges with lower amp's do better.
  13. Well said Mike. Happy Thanksgiving to all! What I am most thankful for: spiritual freedom and family.
  14. Alot of people consider Hico to be the boonies... and they're not far off. It's not boonie enough for us though, we're building on 90 acres. I've already got a 30'X60' shop and it looks like I need another one! It doesn't matter how big it is... you always need more.
  15. Well, I don't make what you do Mike but Hico is a little cheaper than D.C. they paid 15k for a 2 story 2,400sqft home here. Put that much more into it since then. Theirs free and clear! I pay a couple hours a week in labor for my rent...
  16. Thanks. "Went boom" was a figure of speech but there's oil in the radiator and fuel in the oil.
  17. Let's assume full rebuild on an LT1, '96. 1a. How much for stock? 1b. How much for 350hp and at least that much torque to the wheels? 1c. How about if I pull it and reinstall it? 2. Got any shops to recommend? My little bro's car went boom... trying to price things out for him. Thought somebody might know, already asked over on ls1.com.
  18. I'll be right there! (I can live in your garage right?)
  19. Thanks to all, especially brandon. It was simply a loose connection from coil to distributor... I'm such an idiot.
  20. Well, it sounds great while it's running. Doesn't stumble, miss etc. If I touch the accelerator while it's running it instantly dies. Spark plugs are dark and reek of gas.
  21. 45 minutes!? That sounds extreme. I'm not married so what do I know eh?
  22. Found a grnd wire on the water intake that runs nowhere. Been cut. There are 3 wires coming out of the tps and one, blue w/white stripe isn't hooked up to anything. Can anybody tell me what that goes to? (I really need a manual...)
  23. I think it's my afm. Starts up, runs for about 2 sec's and dies. Spark plugs smell like too much fuel. Give me some ideas guys...
  24. Unless it's taking away from family/work don't be. Halo2 is a blast.
