1. Dang! $1 dollar per sq. ft. is great!
2. George Bush's Answer We don't really care why the chicken crossed the road. We just want to know if the chicken is on our side of the road or not. The chicken is either with us or it is against us. There is no middle ground here. John Kerry's Answer While serving in Vietnam, I was in favor of the chicken crossing the road. Then later I realized that there were those who needed the chicken on this side of the road. Now I would like to see the chicken on the other side of the road, unless of course it would be better served to be on this side of the road. Ideally, I think the chicken should be in the middle of the road. Bill Gates' Answer I have just released eChicken 2004, which will not only cross roads, but will lay eggs, file your important documents, and balance your checkbook and Internet Explorer is an inextricable part of eChicken. Dr. Seuss' Answer Did the chicken cross the road? Did he cross it with a toad? Yes, the chicken crossed the road, But why it crossed, I've not been told! Ernest Hemingway's Answer To die. In the rain. Alone. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Answer I envision a world where all chickens will be free to cross roads without having their motives called into question. Grandpa's Answer In my day, we didn't ask why the chicken crossed the road. Someone told us that the chicken crossed the road, and that was good enough for us. Barbara Walters' Answer Isn't that interesting? In a few moments we will be listening to the chicken tell, for the first time, the heart-warming story of how it experienced a serious case of molting and went on to accomplish its life-long dream of crossing the road. Ralph Nader's Answer The chicken's habitat on the original side of the road had been polluted by unchecked industrialist greed. The chicken did not reach the unspoiled habitat on other side of the road because it was crushed by the wheels of a gas-guzzling SUV. Jerry Seinfield's Answer Why doesn't anyone ever think to ask, "What the heck was this chicken doing walking around all over the place anyway?" Pat Buchanan's Answer To steal a job from a decent, hard-working American. Jerry Falwell's Answer Because the chicken was gay! Isn't it obvious? Can't you people see the plain truth in front of your face? The chicken was going to the "other side." That's what they call it -- the other side. Yes, my friends, that chicken is gay. And, if you eat that chicken, you will become gay too. I say we boycott all chickens until we sort out this abomination that the liberal media whitewashes with seemingly harmless phrases like "the other side." Aristotle's Answer It is the nature of chickens to cross the road. Captain Kirk's Answer To boldly go where no chicken has gone before. Bill Clinton's Answer I did not cross the road with THAT chicken. What do you mean by chicken? Could you define chicken, please? Albert Einstein's Answer Did the chicken really cross the road or did the road move beneath the chicken? Sigmund Freud's Answer The fact that you are at all concerned that the chicken crossed the road reveals your underlying sexual insecurity. L.A.P.D.'s Answer Give me ten minutes with the chicken and we'll find out. Louis Farrakhan's Answer T he road, you will see, represents the black man. The chicken crossed the "black man" in order to trample him and keep him down. O.J. Simpson's Answer It didn't. I was playing golf with it at the time.
3. Cool! What's powering it? My little bro just picked up a 95 Z28, LT1/T56. Got a big ol' cam in it too... don't know what it is but it's a blast to drive.
4. The flip side of that coin is "will she?" If you two don't have some very powerful thing that you will work together toward ultimately it won't work. I know you've said in the past you're a christian, how strong is your faith? Is she? You (both) will need something serious to hold you together as you traverse this trail of tears and it should be more than liking fast cars... Danger Will Robinson, danger! If she changed her position because she matured she should demonstrate it by accepting counseling. If she won't do that... she's still using you. IMHO "Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you..."
5. Glad this was posted as I was about to post the exact same letter. People need to be kept informed about it. I get several of those every time I post anything for sale anywhere.
6. Anybody know? I don't want to get the windshield(s) out and not be able to put it back.

8. That is a thing of beauty... and the sound of music!
9. This is from the "Way Wierd" website. Artist sued by community for statue exhibit An artist by the name of Christof Riley is being sued by members of the small San Diego community of Mountain Carmel Bernardo for a statue that he erected in the city's recreational park. Gail Mardley, a member of the city's school board, and one of those suing Riley explained that the city hired Riley to create a patriotic exhibit that the town could be proud of, "but instead we got pornography?" says Mardley, "He lied to us. He told us that the statue would be a memorial to life after 9/11. Are you kidding me? His porn has no place in our community, and he will be sued for his actions". The community has placed a lawsuit of $1,012.11 per person that saw the statue on October 22nd when it was revealed. According to Mardley, 107 people attended the dedication, so Riley is looking at a possible $108,295.77. Christof Riley, who is fighting the suit, told reporters, "I was hired to do a job, and I did it well. Now they don't want to pay me, and are suing me on top of that. This is disgusting. My statue will go down in art history as a patriotic masterpiece that depicts how people can trust one another and the Muslim world after the horrible attacks on September 11, 2001. Remember, the attacks may have been in New York and D.C., but we in San Diego need to be healed of the wounds as well, and my statue is symbolic of how Americans should forgive all Muslims and not try to beat them up and kill them at every turning corner." Riley, who named the statue "Patriotic Mother's Milk And the Expression of Benjamin Franklin's Innocence Lost", explained that the woman on her knees in the doggie-styled position represents Mother America laying her weary head on the lap of Father Muslim while he reads to her a letter of sincere apology on behalf of the Muslim world for the attacks of September 11th by Al Quaeda. "If you look at the statue from behind" he explained, "anyone can see that 'Mother America' has no underpants on. This symbolizes how America is still susceptible to penetration from terrorists, but she removed her panties to show that she's not frightened, and will never negotiate with terrorism. How dare they call my art pornography!" We at the Way Weird do not consider ourselves art critics, but we think that this exhibit belongs more on the lawn of Larry Flint's house than in the Luvre in Paris. If you would like to comment on this article please send us an email to WayWeird_Feedback@hotmail.com I'm unclear from the article as to whether the statue is still up...
10. I used to love that game. Wasted many hours of my life on it...
11. The fix is simple... raise taxes!
12. In areas that have rusted all the way through it's best to just cut it out. You might be able to find a cut an equivalent piece out of so you can weld it back in but if it's small and you can't weld fiberglass will work.
13. The reason I compared it to Russia is that one of the planks of the communist platform IS a progressive tax system. Never said we didn't. I was trying to say that I believe it's an unfair tax. I have never seen a vote on whether we keep the property tax or go to something else. That's true, we do. But just because we're better than everybody else doesn't mean we can't do better yet. Yeah... if you don't mind being homeless. Then you won't "owe" any taxes. I pay for the roads I use with the taxes on the fuel that I buy. I pay for other services with the sales tax on food, clothes etc. I'm not against all taxes... obviously some are necessary. If I could live on my land and be completely self sufficient (I'm not, it's just an example) by your statement above I wouldn't owe any taxes. The system as it currently is would come demand some money even though I wasn't using any of the services they offer. If I couldn't pay they'd confiscate my land and auction it. That doesn't fit my definition of voluntary. What this boils down to is that you think government should take care of everybody. Government has proven itself to my satisfaction that they're not as competent as privately owned organizations. Sure, we need some things on a national level such as defense but not to the extent that it is now. I wasn't being hateful. The root word of "pathetic" is pathos. That's greek which basically means "emotion". I see how that was misinterpreted so I'll rephrase it. The welfare class makes me feel sad and disgusted both at the majorities laziness and the systems perpetuation of the problem. I don't despise the people on welfare however. I pointed out that there are exceptions to the rule and I'm glad that you seem to be one of them. What I would like to see is government letting us keep our own money and spend it how we see fit. I donate to charities and needy individuals and would give more if the government didn't take it. The gov. happens to give it to causes that I don't think are worthy and I consider it immoral to make anyone support causes they disagree with. I suggest you study the communist manifesto and see just how close to that we've moved. I suppose we'll have to agree to disagree...
14. Crazy280, I appreciate the fact that you're willing to discuss this. I'm sorry you feel insulted, I didn't say you weren't a christian... just that I believe you've misinterpreted the Bible. Thankfully nobody has to be perfect to get to heaven, otherwise I'd be doomed. Yes, that sounds lovely. Why don't you go to Russia and ask how well that worked? The power to tax comes from control. Land taxes = the gov. owns the land and you rent it... try not paying it and see how long you keep it. Etc. I stand by my statement. I could have been part of the "welfare class" but chose not to. I pointed out that there are exceptions... unfortunately the majority is the way I described. You have no room to judge me as you have no idea how I've lived. Yes it does, and it's right to do so. To encourage that is. But to take by force... where did Jesus preach that? A rich man once came to Him and asked what he needed to do to go to heaven. His answer? You lack one thing... give all that you have to the poor and come, follow me. What did the rich man do? He walked off, very sad. Jesus didn't chase him down and force him to... It's easy to produce tearjerking examples to gain sympathy for your argument. In general I'm not in favor of unions but they do have their place. Employers need employees just as much as vice versa. It's a seesaw thing... Unfortunately life isn't fair. You haven't argued with my major point... you can't give people stuff to fix their problems. The welfare system is set up to encourage the same thing that it was meant to fix. It's simply easier to stay on welfare so most people do. I'd could give examples but I really think theres no need. I have to go to work... if you truly want to discuss (not argue... ) this I'll be happy to when I get back.
15. Sounds like a lotta fun. It also sounds like they should have lengthened the frame...
16. I'm not gonna touch the political arguments flying around as y'all have your minds made up. However I feel I must say something about the religious claims. I try to follow Christ's teaching's and feel that Crazy280 is wrong. As far as you go there I'd agree. But you imply that the moral thing to do would be to take from the rich so the poor can have more. That falls under the category of theft. Absolutely. But two wrongs don't make a right... War is not forbidden as such... we clearly have the right to self defense. Using God's name to fulfill your own ends is clearly wrong though. I'm not defending Bush as I dislike him but... like I said in the "Iraq-illegal" thread you can't give people anything and expect them to respect it. The welfare class in this country is pathetic and it's self perpetuating. (Yes, there are exceptions to every rule) I also come from a "humble" background and we could have qualified for gov. aid but we never took it. Our family and friends helped and now that we're back on our feet we help them as they need it. BTW, raising the minimum wage is a very short term solution. Businesses then have to pay more for labor and thus charge more for the products... how does that help?
17. That's the problem with forums. Even with smilies it's so easy to be misinterpreted... I understood he meant a limited slip...
18. It's now official, the elections are dishonest. I know of three people (including myself) who voted for Michael A. Peroutka yet the official results show he got no votes in Hamilton county. The same thing happened in several other counties.
19. Government(s) always lies to and abuses the citizens. I feel like a broken record... POWER CORRUPTS!
20. Yup. And despite Bush's posturing he's an internationalist. It's just that he wants to be in control...
21. I think you answered it already... So get rid of welfare. Obviously you can't cut 'em off cold as there would be riots. Really wouldn't be fair as they're not prepared to support themselves but give 'em a few months warning while we boot the illegals. I'm not against immigration, just the illegal kind. I do feel like we need a constitutional amendment to say that the kids of anybody who got here illegally aren't citizens. Some of the first white colonists in this country had the same lazy attitude but they were the rich ones... remember how they took care of that problem?
22. The Supreme Court has reversed itself many times and I imagine it will happen a few more times. If we did it because Saddam was a bad guy why did we put him in power in the first place? Because he wasn't bad back then? Perhaps the same thing is happening to our leaders... power corrupts. And why aren't we in Sudan? There's plenty of atrocities there... You can't give a republic/democracy to people for the same reason welfare doesn't help people. When enough people are ready they will take it. The best thing we could have done is made sure everybody there had a shotgun. That would have made the killing worse you say? Nope, there's plenty of weapons there to begin with, but when even the peons have them (and are fed up enough to use them) the tyrants and their goons will quickly realize it's not worth it.
23. There was a thread about "the nicest z" and "the nicest z 2.0" which had several sweet z31's with kits. I've apparently lost my touch with the search function though... perhaps you'll have more luck.
