Thanks for the compliments guys. The scoop was an aftermarket fiber glass chevy SS style scoop that I finally found through a lot of online searching that took place over a period of a few months to find exactly what I was looking for. It sat in the garage for about 8 months and I was planning on doing myself BUT when the guy at the exhaust shop killed my front end and paid me to have it fixed I figured what the hell, I'll just pay the shop to do it while it's there. I always wanted a Camaro SS, that's what got me thinking about that type of hood style and I thought it would look great on the Z. AND I wanted to be the first to do it. So that I could stake my claim in HybridZ history Oh, the wheels are from an Austrailian company called ROH. They were on the car when I got it. I did an online search and found them. I haven't looked lately but when I found them they no longer offered that style. I've only seen them on one other Z too!!!!!

My 73 rust bucket parts car is almost completely stripped. Interior and drive train are completely 100% gone and in the garage. Any suggestions as to what else I should salvage before I send it on to the crusher?

ArizonaZcar has the mono ball setup available. $99 per corner though, not sure if that's a deal or not.

Riverside, CA to Fayetteville NC and back, then back again, then back again, then back again.......etc...you get the idea. Total of seven times I've made that trip. Once in 36 hours (ish) w/o sleeping Kinda hard to believe I still love to drive so much huh .......?

Yeah that seems to be the luck with that air dam. Did it bend your fenders too when you hit? I just barely got around to getting mine to the body shop to fix that damage and it happened last summer (ish)

These are from a year ago when I picked her up. I'll add more later, I should have her back from the body shop this evening!! Small, I know!!

I like the idea of a regional forum. It's a pain to find people in my area that are the caliber of people we find here on HybridZ. I can find "Z" guys locally but they're usually the younger ones that have the 90-96's, and hang out with the "ricer crowd". And generally are a different type of person than say,.... one who owns an S30.

Well, assuming that the bank processed it today. I'll call them tomorrow and check the clearance status. I have no idea how long it takes to clear a check (I don't usually deal with them too much). But as soon as it clears it'll be heading out.!! You seem to be a bit further into your swap that I am. I'm just planning and drooling at all the V8 stuff right now. Hopefully I can get started on a short block sometime this summer. I only wanna do it once ya know, the right way the first time....
